I love the sauna & steam room, and the yoga classes are all great. friendly and welcoming atmosphere!

I love the diverse community of the Downtown Y.
The front desk staff were very helpful (as always) in reconfiguring our family membership now that one of the adults is a senior.
Our only issue is with the how slowly repairs to the lap swimming pool heater always take. The pool is our primary reason for coming to the Downtown Durham Y year-round.
I like being in town with everyone. Going to the Y is a community feeling. I use the treadmill and weights mostly, but I really love, for example, watching basketball as I walk. I also love that I now know many people, what you might call familiar strangers that as time passes I enjoy watching their routines and talking to them. I also like everyone at the front desk. I hope to potentially take some classes in the spring.

I love that the YMCA is a nonprofit and has such a good community focus. I love the inclusiveness and welcome deal created by the staff. And the facilities are very good
