I like everything about the downtown Durham YMCA!!! It's ALL inclusiveness, the equipment that WORKS (occasional treadmills have problems but when reported personnel are immediately on top of it), the indoor track, the gym, the pool, the daycare, the overall cleanliness of the facility, the personable, knowledable and helpful staff/personnel, etc., even parking... I simply have NO complaints!!!
Staff are amazing and despite the age of the facility it is well-kept.
I like being able to come and work on my Basketball skills.

I feel very welcome, and it’s always so lively. I mostly use the strength equipment, and everyone is so respectful and kind. I also recently tried my first Zumba class, and it was so fun!

Facilities are fine, but the best part is being around people from rh community, and that includes staff.

The Y is a welcoming and wonderful place. My teens love the basketball court and 6 hours of dedicated open gym hours on the weekends. I love the classes with caring and knowledgeable instructors. I love that the employees treat me with kindness and encouragement, it makes the Y feel like my home away from home.
