I like the class offerings and the overall positive vibes there. Areas for improvement are we were told you would be adding dimmers to the lights in studio two which are absolutely awful, and it would be nice for people to know and be reminded both via posters on the wall by the weights and via a teacher announcement that people can only take two sets of weights for strength classes. We regularly run out of weights in it because some people are greedy and take three sets or more. Very annoying.
Everyone at the Alexander YMCA was wonderful from member sign up to other information provided to us. Initial pool use and classes have exceeded expectations. Thank you to Kaitlyn who helped us understand the benefits of the Alexander Y, after we spoke to her at Camp Orientation. Great staff and facility. Thank you!
Gym is great and people are super kind!
It’s open late most of the week and has a well-maintained set of equipment. The Y also has great camps and other programming for my kids.
Very clean and the stuff is very friendly.
The staff is amazing!
Good variety of equipment, pool, and hours.
Convenience with various workout equipment and space and access to relaxation in the steam and sauna. Hot tub would be welcome again. Friendly staff. Extended facility hours and days of operation are always welcome, esp during some Holidays and Sat and Sunday nights when members have more time to visit and workout. Availability of towels to use is very welcoming.
Great job.
