The sauna & steam room are by best features. As long as they have those I'll choose them over other centers. Not every YMCA has those.
Great cycle class & water fitness class teachers, nice facility.
I have some complaints, however, so hoping remaining survey questions ask about those.
The fitness classes offered, the facilities, and the diversity of people who attend the YMCA.
Great classes and schedule, terrific instructors, helpful staff, and a wonderful location.
Great fitness classes, kind staff.
Variety of classes, clean facility, ease of access. But mostly, the amazing staff and friends you make at the Y!
The staff is so friendly and I enjoy Bryon's class.
I really like the sauna, yoga classes, and free weights! I’d love to see a cold tub be added eventually. Just a side note, some gentlemen are disregarding the rules for the sauna and not wearing neither a towel nor shorts.
Great place to get in shape and connect for fellowship and general encouragement through the challenges of life!
The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
I like the classes and instructors
Wholesome atmosphere. Conveniently located. Has everything there that I need/want regarding exercise. Sauna and steam room are much appreciated, especially during winter.
The Y works on good causes. Lots of good people, from all strata and walks of life. Has a deep history and good reputation. Inexpensive. Charitable.

I love the many options for fitness - pool, weights, machines, tracks. I like the experiences that are offered such as the Indoor Triathlon and other events. And I like how the staff is so friendly, encouraging of both adults and my kids, who have gone through many Y programs.
Very nice staff. Very clean as well. When things break, they are usually fixed by the next day.
This is a wonderful Y- big, bright, and beautiful!
Excellent experience. Front desk Megan and “Miss M” were great to work with. Margareth Galardi was quick to respond and assist with financial support. I was a previous member and had to relocate during Covid. This was a seamless process. I’m also a prior Boarc of Managers Member from the Kernersville Family YMCA. I have supported the Y for years. Very humbled for the help afforded me.
Friendly environment and close to home
Beautiful facility, great classes, awesome teachers/staff,
Great yoga experience!
I love the Y so much. The quality of instructors for classes compared to other gyms is incredible. The variety of classes is also wonderful.
Cleanliness
Clean facility, friendly staff.
Great overall experience for
Large, open, airy rooms with great selection of work out equipment!
Spacious locker rooms and the best spa/steam room!
Biggest negative, too many people! (that is why I go early)
It’s my favorite place in Raleigh!
Excellent accommodations and very helpful and friendly staff
