The noise level for the Sat dance class was so loud that I found it to be intolerable- I tried to tell the teacher but she couldn’t hear, ironic - right?

The YMCA is warm, and friendly. The amount of classes offered is excellent and they keep adding on. The instructors and staff are all great. I take six yoga classes a week and my wife goes to Zumba.

I like the friendly atmosphere and variety of exercise available for all ages. I hope to experience some classes, but I've heard they are only available upon payment. Being out of work, that might not be conducive to my situation.

Sauna, steam room, weights
Everyone is very kind, it’s a wonderful experience.
I ONLY USE THE FAMILY POOL. PHYSICAL THERAPY IN THE WATER. USUALLY NOT CROWDED AFTER 2PM
Front desk folks and class teachers are super welcoming. There is a good variety of things to do. Nice perks too like the hot sauna!

Everything. They have a huge variety of classes to suit all levels of activity and movement as well as the health related classes. The instructors are very knowledgeable and will always take time to answer any questions you might have, even if you’re not in a class and see them on the floor. The YMCA is all inclusive. No matter what your level or where you are in your health and fitness journey, there’s always a place where you fit in. The hours are great so you can always find time to get in and get a workout done.
I’ve been a member for two years and in that time I’ve accomplished so much in my health and fitness journey. The Diabetes Prevention Program helped me lose weight and learn the importance of exercise and nutrition; and I can still reach out when I have a question. My personal trainer worked with me and took the time to find out what goals I want to achieve and designed a workout program specifically for me and she’s there for me when I have a question or just need a push. No other “gym” can offer this. The YMCA is more than just a gym.
Family friendly and pool for Family swim time.

If I may make a suggestion, I would love to see more classes in the afternoon/evenings at the Midtown location. It’s a lot closer to me. Thank you!

The actual weight lifing portion of the gym is a little small. But, having the steam and sauna room in the men's only locker room is great. I do wish there was a keypad to prevent those under 18 to enter as I have witnessed 16 year Olds coming into the 18+ locker rooms to enter the sauna. The changes that were made to the facilities since I was last a member are amazing. The building is beautiful.
