I enjoy my swimming and I like seeing everyone smiling when I come and go! I honestly have never seen an unhappy person at the YMCA, no matter what the situation, and that’s unusual most places today.
This is probably our third or fourth time being members of the Y. We needed financial assistance this year and were very grateful to get some! The Nir family Y is clean and has everything we were looking for. My daughter also participates in Y soccer and we have had great experiences with that as well.

I love the welcoming environment, the broad array of classes to choose form, and the support from every member of the staff! The other members are great too. It really does feel like a family!

So far, have just taken Will's Friday morning dance lite class and love it. Most favorite exercise class of my week.
the friendliness and knowledge of the staff also the cleanliness of all areas pools are well heated and clean waiting for spa to open then it will be perfect

People are friendly.
It's clean, it doesn't smell like a locker room. People are friendly. There is something for however one chooses to exercise. It has everything one needs whether to improve your health. I don't have little children but it appears to have childcare covered as well. So many programs for everyone. I am truly happy to have a place like this Y that I can go to.
Classes for older adults and those with joint issues; water aerobics, seated strength workouts, even choreographed dance classes!
I love the classes that they have, Water aerobics is my favorite class. Instructor gets to know the people in the class and structure the classes for the different needs. They have all different levels of yoga classes with instructors that are helpful. Best part it is the non judgmental atmosphere.
I love the variety of classes and activities you can do in one place and the amenities. Sometimes I need to focus on relaxing (yin yoga), mobility (therapeutic yoga), core strength, Cardo (zumba), weightlifting (body pump), etc and there's almost always a class I can take most days that address my needs. Also, my kids (11 and 13) have started doing wellness orientation and using the Cardio equipment and love playing racquetball or swimming in the pool. They are not big in team sports but we have in the past done swimming lessons and soccer through the nir family ymca and when they were little, I was able to put them in the childcare while I worked out. I appreciate the range of membership options - my husband never comes to the gym with me, so I have the option of one parent with dependants, which is slightly cheaper than a full family membership. When I first moved here, I was able to get financial assistance and it was such a gift. And whatever percentage of financial assistance was applied to your membership was also applied to your kids' activities, which made enrolling my son in soccer much more accessible.
The Group X classes are varied and the instructors are top notch.
I like the weigh area and pools and sauna and steam room. Would be even more happy with the facility if the hot tub will be able to get installed.

The staff is great, the facility clean, and the wait to use things not long at all. I like everything! I did notice a few pieces of equipment were out of commission this week when I went, but I guess that’s to be expected. Thanks for doing a great job!
