Friendly staff. Great group exercise classes. Good value.
The variety of group classes.
Always a good experience to come to Nir. Wet areas maintained well and steam & sauna in working order.
I like the training experience, the trainers, and those who participate in the training. The facilities are great, too! Clean, well maintained, and ever improving.
Allon and Victoria were so kind, positive and definitely helped us to feel comfortable getting started. We appreciate their help!
Offering of a variety of yoga classes at a very economical rate. Love the pool options and availability. The only cons are, am a little apprehensive about why recently there has been turnover with yoga and some longterm instructors. Realize Naomi moved away but Kelly and to some degree Sondra , am a little confused why they left? Lastly, men’s locker room smells like rotting cheese and it’s smelled bad for a longtime. Wondering why? I cannot be the only member to complain about that.
The people and all the activities you can do.
Nice and helpful staff
Love the classes that I have been taking.
I would prefer not to have my name shared.
The children’s programming is excellent for my 2+ year old and the staff is awesome.
I’ve only been to the facility twice, so it’s early to ask me to complete a survey. Initial impression is very good, and my Wellness Coach Allon is outstanding.
The staff are all so kind, helpful, respectful, friendly and knowledgeable! Someone is always readily available to explain and questions or concerns you may have. It's a good atmosphere that can easily build to a sense of community if you allow it.
Convenient, machines are usually always available, helpful staff, good quality equipment
My primary usage at the Nir Family YMCA is the six lane pool. I love the deep water aerobics classes.
Clean well kept up.
Friendly staff.
Life guards always watching even if only 2 in pool or hot tub.
Variety, cleanliness, inclusion and friendliness!
The staff are helpful and friendly. I'd like to give a particular shout out to Alone who puts an effort to remember the names of every person he meets!
I love how friendly and kind all of the employees are.
I love that it is such an inclusive environment with a wide range of ages. There are tons of great exercise classes to choose from with wonderful instructors.
I have mobility issues and I really like how easy it is to use all the Y facilities. Sometimes, when I try to workout on Saturdays, the handicapped parking is full. That is my only complaint.
Everyone here is very friendly. I love both of the saunas, those are my favorite things. I didn’t get a chance to work with much equipment because I had to cancel my membership, unfortunately. I would recommend the YMCA!
Most of all I appreciate the pool. The cleanliness of the locker room is also welcome.
clean, friendly staff, great mission
Nice people working there, feel welcome.

The Y has something for everyone. It is the most inclusive organization that I know of .
Great selection of equipment and friendly staff
Number of yoga and pilates classes
I love the feeling of community that greets me every time I walk through the door!
Is excellent
"What I appreciate most about the Nir Family YMCA is the sense of community. It doesn't feel like just a gym — people genuinely know each other, the staff remembers your name, and there's an encouraging atmosphere whether you're a first-timer or a longtime member. The facilities are well-maintained and versatile, so I can switch up my routine without having to go somewhere else. I also value that the Y is mission-driven — it's not just about fitness, it's about overall well-being, and you can feel that in how the place is run. The programs they offer — from group classes to youth activities — make it a place the whole family can benefit from, not just adults chasing a workout."

The programs, the councilors, the employees, the cleanliness. They are amazing!
