Positive atmosphere. Love 8:30 am yoga, deep water aerobics, Charlotte’s classes.
The availability of the program I want to use; day and time. My instructor in the 9:15 Water Aerobics is great. He works on strength and core and picks great music to exercise to. He is personable, friendly and puts levity in the program.
The hours are very inclusive to schedule needs, I love that my monthly payment contributes to the community and community programs. The environment feels safe and nonjudgemental. I love that we have access to sauna and steam rooms in the locker rooms. The classes are wonderful and the instructors are so kind and supportive. I recommend to everyone I know!

I LOVE the Y and visit probably three times a week. As a senior citizen, I am saddened that you will no longer accept the insurance from BSBC. I will have to see how to be able to continue enjoying your offerings next year.

Best though...the staff and instructors are incredible...friendly, welcoming,competent,caring
YMCA group fitness instructors are the best! Please do everything possible to retain them. I have a couple of concerns . Some instructors are telling us that we should not be doing strength/weight training daily but most of the classes offered are a combination of strength and cardio, often times emphasizing strength. And the our cardio offerings like cycle and body attack are always in jeopardy of being canceled. It doesn’t seem to match up.
Also, I am blue cross Medicare members. Without the Y accepting silver sneakers I will have to think twice about a membership in 2026z. And it is not a matter that I can’t pay for a membership but when I can get one free elsewhere, why would I. Perhaps more communication regarding the matter would help us all understand the ‘why’?
