I enjoy and attend the Aqua Zumba and Zumba classes offered day and night. The instructors are very motivating, the Pool lifeguards are very helpful and makaʻala which is much appreciated. The locker rooms are well maintained. For those days when attending in-person classes are not possible, the YMCA 360 videos are “just what the doctor ordered”. The Y staff are very helpful and accommodating, especially in the gym where all the weights and machines can be somewhat intimidating. The facility is bustling with smiling staff, happy children, and energy of teens and adults in group exercise classes and on the gym floor.

Love the Aqua Zumba aka (to me) water therapy. Like that there are so many options. With work, having different days and times, it’s hard to make excuses.
The exercises classes get me moving, in air-conditioned comfort.
Some of the instructors read a lot and convey the information to the class.
Some of the instructors change out their routines. After years of taking the same class, you don’t want to be doing the same routine and using the same muscles.
You meet people and are able to socialize and sometimes form relationships.
The Y offers other type of activities for those who are interested.

I really enjoyed working out at the Leeward YMCA. The weight room Is very clean and well maintained. Excellent equipment, all the machines and free weights that you could ever need. The staff is very helpful and polite. I really like the facility.
Exercise equipment readily available
The air conditioned exercise rooms, instructors, lots of parking, and no need to call in/go online all the time to reserve class space.
YMCA offers a whole array of programs, including family- and socially-oriented programs, wellness, and more. The entire staff is amazing; courteous, polite, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I feel so comfortable in reaching out to anyone for any questions I may have or assistance I may need.

I like the people who work and volunteer for the many programs offered. The staff is friendly, dedicated, courteous, and always say hello with a smile when you sign in. The front desk staff greets you using your first name showing that they know you and that you are welcome. Since I am a kupuna, I enjoy the get togethers in the main area with my new friends and Tai Chi friends. I also enjoy the special events designed for us: lunches, dinners, and presentations. The overall atmosphere is friendly and conducive to fulfilling the Y’s mission.

The classes are very good, very diverse. It's a great place for seniors. Most fitness institutions don't have a place for seniors to socialize with their friends before or after class. I like that they have other activities for both young and old people. It truly is a great place to go to.
Staff, especially Nick, are friendly and professional and make us feel welcomed! The facilities are great--clean and well maintained. The gym is airconditioned and makes exercising comfortable. The regulars are friendly. All in all, the Leeward YMCA is a great community to be a part of!

I am always greeted with a smile as I scan in. Members are also very friendly. They’ll hold the door open for me as I’m walking up the stairs. I really enjoy Zumba and Aqua Zumba classes taught by Kiʻi. You can tell he is really enjoying teaching and everyone is having so much fun!
Awesome instructors and fun interactions with participants. Classes are varied and engaging. Great for my health!
