Enjoy the gym and pool.
The sense of community is the best part of the Leeward YMCA experience. The instructors are friendly and talented, and the classes are so enjoyable that I'm motivated to come mutliple times per week.
The instructors were very nice & informative
Good atmosphere, and facilities are nice and well kept, staff is always friendly and helpful. Our Stretch and Yoga instructor, Harry, is a great and positive instructor, as is Gail, who leads arthritis and fitness classes.
The many dining tables and chairs are welcoming and the bingo is good to have. The plants make it homey, and so does the coffee station.
I missed the computer classes and would have liked to attend. I did not hear about it til much later. Can you put up a big sign or have it on your TV screens when you have these learning sessions? Also would like to learn how to avoid real injury if you fall.

Brad is an amazing teacher for adult swim lessons. He adapts each class to the skill level each participant has and is able to explain techniques in an efficient manner. He structures the class very well which aids to the advancement of all participant's skills. Comparably, he is the best instructor and it is a loss when he does not teach the lessons.

Was surprised to learn there is bingo & meals available for kipunas.

I love Kitty’s Aqua Zumba classes.
Leeward YMCA provides many of the amenities we look for in a gym. We enjoy the outside pool and they have sufficient equipment to provide a full body work out.
There are a plethora of classes to choose from for persons a various fitness levels.

The gym is not overcrowded like other gyms. Also they have all kind of different activities for everyone.
The new equipment is good, but some old machines were taken out that were better than the new ones.

The Leeward YMCA has a clean, safe environment and my wife and I enjoy our visit there for exercise at the gym and participate in the Aqua Zumba classes in the pool with Instructor Ms. Kitty. (Saturdays: 9-10am)
The lockers/shower room is clean and maintained.
The upper parking lot is safe and usually monitored by HPD vehicles.
Thank you for providing a quiet, and comfortable place to exercise at an affordable membership.

The Leeward YMCA staff make you feel totally welcome all the time! They provide areas for members to sit and fellowship while drinking coffee they make for us. The staff constantly raise our spirits by creating events and celebrations around most holidays. Then there are huge fitness options offered which become unlimited when adding online choices. They care for our mind, body and spirit. All this leads to a membership who are grateful int turn to support the Leeward YMCA.
