The pool is clean, sauna is clean, and so are the locker rooms. I was going to Silverdale, but at 5am, it is too crowded, not clean, and the river walk rules are too strict. Staff is more personal at Bremerton YMCA and professional.

The Bremerton Family Y is always very welcoming. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there are a wide variety of activities from which to choose.

I like this location due to its size and the fact that the basketball court is the heart of the gym. Friendly staff and remote work space makes it a great place to spend time as needed.
Smaller group's, friendliness and personal touch
I feel cheerful after walking in the doors, as the Y staff enthusiastically welcome myself and other members. I take a few moments to read the daily grease board messages, which lighten the heart and place a smile upon my face. The classes I attend are taught by Leslie, who is knowledgeable, personable and gently cajoles attendees regarding our body positioning faux paws. My body has several issues and the classes are greatly aiding me.
I walk the indoor track and use other areas inside the building. All equipment is kept in working order, the interior is kept clean and even maintenance staff make eye contact and greet me. Fantastic to be connected to a positive community center

I love my Zumba classes. Glad they are at the right time in the mornings. I wish the a/c worked a bit better. It was 79 degrees in there on Monday, 7/8. A bit warm for exercising on a Monday morning. Hope it’s cooler on Wednesday with the heat wave we’re having. sh
