I like the new machines a lot.
The hours need to be extended, this hopefully will make it less crowded, especially on the weekends and why not stay open a little later? The Gig Harbor population has doubled as your membership likely has as well. However, hours have not increased.
It would be great to have a YMCA staff person on the flour when all the high school students arrive. They let the weights crash, monopolize the machines and could learn some proper techniques and manners.

The staff is friendly, the free is reasonable, and you have so many options for families and people of all ages. It's been a few years since I've been a member of a YMCA. I'm glad I joined!
Well lit, not dark inside like Silverdale. Friendly staff.
I like the Y because it is a safe friendly place to exercise and meet new friends. I especially enjoy the Zumba classes.
I enjoy the swimming pool the most
Positive attitudes pervasive throughout. Acceptance of all people, variety and quality of classes, cleanliness, emphasis on exercise and good health.
Love it here, it is quite busy is the only downside. But that’s simply because it is such a great facility with great staff.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the gym is clean, lots of class availability and all the equipment you could ever need.
I love the classes I take at 7:30 am and the 2 instructors Carolyn and Danny.
Great ambiance, people are warm and friendly, many options/activities to choose.
Love all of the options available for kids classes and the ability to hit the gym at the same time as their class. Kids drop off also a huge plus that allows me to work out and them to stay occupied. They're really is no other gym that comes close to the versatility the Y provides, especially for families.
Everyone is so friendly and equipment is updated often!

I do not like the new huge emphasis on weightlifting. Some of my favorite equipment was removed due to the expanded amt of sq footage up & down dedicated to weight lifting.
