Our membership has been kind of sporadic the last couple of years, due to health reasons. But we are back. The new layout (new to us) is better. The staff is great and the morning beautiful smile of Colleen makes your day.
Great place for workouts and very convenient. My Zumba classes are with excellent, experienced instructors. I have met friendly, dedicated people that have turned into awesome friendships.
It's well managed, clean, neat and orderly. The machines are great and well maintained. My husband and I workout there 3 days a week.

The Ahwatukee location has a friendly and very professional staff! My family has been using most of the services over the last six years including the after-school program, kids swimming lessons and now the teen after-school program.
It is a clean and welcoming environment with plenty of classes for adults as well. We are so grateful for the Ahwatukee YMCA!!

My Y use includes only the lap pool right now - I really appreciate how the staff works hard to keep it clean and appropriately heated (when necessary) for year round use! I also like the general vibe of the facility - the staff is friendly and helpful!

As a Senior signing up for membership, I was asked if I have a Medicare Supplement plan. The representative was then able to help me arrange with my carrier to pay my monthly YMCA subscription fee.
Also, the variety of exercise equipment and classes is top-notch!

I love our Y. I brag about it to my friends in other parts of the valley. How clean it is, the fabulous new machines and most of all -- the people. From the warm greetings from the desk staff to the trainers and helpers who will answer any and all questions. I come to the Y at least five days a week. I'm 79 years old and credit my good health and ability to ride my machines for a minimum of ten miles. Thank you!
All generally good EXCEPT need a much better response to cleaning lap pool after a dust storm. Two weeks later there are still piles of debris and coating of dust. The regular cleaning schedule after a dust storm is not adequate and a targeted spot clean is needed. Need help?? I'm willing to help if staffing is an issue. Call me at Phone number removed if I can be helpful. It just takes one evening to spot clean!!!!

I love the friendly supportive attitude of both trainers and members. And there are so many classes with excellent leaders to choose from! There is really something for people of every age and interest.
The instructors are terrific, the facilities are good, the staff is exceptional, and the people who attend are friendly and courteous! What a combination.
