All three Silver Sneakers Instructors are A++ (awesome and amazing). They show us ways to modify exercises and encourage us to work at our own pace. I love that they share a motivational/inspirational quote at the end of class.
I have enjoyed meeting new people of all ages. I especially have benefited from joining YOPAS..
I also love the incentives that the YMCA provides through T-Shirts: Six weeks to Wellness and the 100# T-Shirt.
The Reception staff is always friendly and welcoming.

I love everything about going to the Y. Everyone is very friendly, beginning with the front desk personnel - warm greetings in and warm wishes when I leave. I swim and take classes (pilates, yoga, core, meditation), and I love my instructors - have learned a lot from each of them, find them to be so positive and encouraging. One of them is my trainer now. She is absolutely wonderful! I find the pool a very friendly atmosphere, have made friends swimming regularly with others there. The guards are fabulous - working in all temperatures (hot and cold) to guard us while are in the very cool (warm) pool! I love that they make playlists for good music to swim by. It's an important part of my day to go there. I also visit the weight room and the jumpstart weight room. I do recommend the Y experience regularly. People will note my improved appearance, in terms of having shaped up, and I always tell them what I'm doing at the Y. Share with others at the Y about my class experiences, plus others outside of the Y. They are surprised sometimes to learn of all the course offerings available. For instance, I've shared with nurses, techs, at my doctor's offices--a couple said they had enjoyed local Ys in some other locales years before, and they should definitely check them out in the Valley. Indeed.
I like the community atmosphere. However, after COVID and the reduction in hours and classes I am the only one in my family that still attends. My other family members are at EOS. I wish we still had enjoyed this as a family.

Provide kids club and programs
I love the instructors of the classes I am doing. They are knowledgeable and friendly. They take their job very seriously. I also enjoy the community feeling I get. The people at the front desk are so helpful and kind.
The pool opening at 6am
It's a great place to workout and a comfortable facility. I like the views of the mountain!
