My daughter has been coming here for years and has been able to make new friends and reunite with old friends each time. We do not have many kids her age in our neighborhood, so this has been an experience to which she has looked forward to each year. The field trips are also very intentional in enhancing the summer camp experience and has been a huge factor to our return enrollment each year. Lastly, the staff is very welcoming, engaging, and relatable to the kids - great to see consistency in the staff each year.
Our son had an amazing time at Camp Caddo! We will surely return next summer. The activities, field trips, and swimming kept him fully engaged. I would have liked to see pictures posted, and the site director never responded to emails.

The different field trips each week help keep the kids excited. My daughter loves going swimming most of the week.

I love the different themes each week, the fun field trips, and the flexibility to schedule different weeks as needed. Both my daughters have attended over several years and they always had such a fun time.
My daughter loves it here and she never gets bored. The days are filled with activities, weekly field trips and swimming.
The counselors are great and engage my son every day. He comes home excited to tell me about his day and all they did. The field trips are not the best days and my son no longer wants to go on them. By the time they arrive at the destination and organize so many kids, there is very little time in the actual attraction (only a few rides or time spent there) before they have to load up and return. Potentially it would be better if they split age groups on different days or have a better process of organizing the kdis to maximize more time at the location.
The staff and the program
My daughter has had a ton of fun at the YMCA summer camp and all the counselors are very kind and attentive.
My only concern is not receiving the weekly newsletter for the past two weeks. I used to receive them on the Sunday before camp started, but for some reason it hasn't arrived in my inbox for the past two weeks.
The experience my children are having daily. They talk about the friendships bonds they have made and how fun the counselors are.
Our daughter loves going everyday! They have so many activities to keep them busy and she loves the field trips and swimming they get to do. She loves all the camp staff too. We will continue to use YMCA for afterschool and camp for as long as we can!
All the staff are engaged and invested in our child. He has made tons of friends and really enjoys the field trips.
My daughter has absolutely loved camp so far, and is already asking us if she can come back next year. She adores all of the teachers and we are so glad to have a place that she enjoys so much!

The staff were incredibly friendly and made my child feel welcome from day one. I loved how organized the activities were—there was always something fun and engaging planned. My child came home every day with a big smile, new stories, and even some new skills! It felt like a safe, positive, and energetic environment that really supports kids’ growth and confidence. I like that my children are in a safe learning environment. The trips are experimental and my daughter really loves going on them. The arts and craft time they have with the kids really expands their imagination.
I also love the professionalism of the camp
counselors. I would say overall this was a great experience for my girls and I would do it again next year.
We love the kids are playing outside with other kids and not on electronics. She's picking up new crafting hobbies and solving rubic cubes. Thank you!
