Friendly check in and check out experience, field trips!!
I like that my children are in a safe learning environment. The trips are experimental and my daughter really loves going on them. The arts and craft time they have with the kids really expands their imagination.
I also love the professionalism of the camp
counselors. I would say overall this was a great experience for my girls and I would do it again next year.
We love the kids are playing outside with other kids and not on electronics. She's picking up new crafting hobbies and solving rubic cubes. Thank you!

My kid expressed having a good time, they had activities planned for each day of the week. Drop off and pick up were seamless.
I will say, the app didn’t deliver as mentioned on our welcome email. It did not send activity reminders and photos were never received.
Clean space, lots of activities every week and kind personnel to take care of the kids.
I love how my kids can enjoy their teachers and love the activities. Any situations we had they were very much involved in making a difference for us. We love this team!!
The staff is very friendly and professional. Ms. First name removed is awesome with the kids. She is an amazing Camp Director and was able to address any concerns that I had. My child loves Ms. Jasmine, Ms. Marisa, and Mr. Sai. The activities are fun, and the field trips have been fantastic! I love that they always have something fun to do and learn.
Staff always communicated experiences children would have and how their day went. As well as if anything would be needed for an activity or field trip.
My kids learned how to swim, which was very valuable for us. Before, they were scared to jump in the water, but now they aren’t. Another thing I like is the group activities, which help them learn from each other and follow the game instructions and similar things.
Lots of fun activities for the kids, and flexible hours for working parents
The staff is great and my daughter loves every one of them. She is so excited to go every day. I love that they offer so many activities for her to keep her active physically and intellectually. Makes me wish I was a kid again so I can join too!
My child is extremely well-cared for, treated well, engaged, and OUTSIDE as a true childhood should be. We love Richardson YMCA Day Camp :)
It is conveniently located. The have wonderful field trip options and the Director n Asst Director (Brandi & Marissa) are phenominal!!!!!!!!

I like the atmosphere and activities offered at the YMCA Day Camp. The field trips and swimming lessons are an added bonus. I can work knowing that my child is in a safe environment, engaging in different activities and not spending their day on electronics.
We love Camp Echo! The staff is friendly and full of energy! We love the weekly swim sessions and field trips! You can’t ask for a better summer camp experience!
Ms. Jackie - the director is so great and kind. I also had a great experience with Kim. She was so kind when I had an issue with my daughter's registration one week. We would definitely sign up again.

My great-niece loves it. Compared to her experience last summer elsewhere she's in love with the program. Having swimming lessons as a part of the camp is great. We had her in swim lessons last year but this is great. We signed up for the full summer except one week when we went on vacation. The weekly newsletters keep me and her mom up to date on what is happening. So your program gets an A from me!
My child is having a fun summer experience that I may not be able to provide because of work. She’s learning to swim. I love that so much!!!

I personally like the care and dedication staff has towards my child and the other children. When my daughter missed a day I received a call and text from Mrs. C asking if Olivia would be in the rest of the week. This showed they noticed she was not there and they took note that she was schedule. It was a great follow up to make sure she would be there later in the week and a tentative approach at making sure Olivia was doing well.
The staff were incredibly friendly and made my child feel welcome from day one. I loved how organized the activities were—there was always something fun and engaging planned. My child came home every day with a big smile, new stories, and even some new skills! It felt like a safe, positive, and energetic environment that really supports kids’ growth and confidence. We’re grateful for the care and effort the team puts into making it such a great experience
