Price and convenience
Plano YMCA offers easy access to my workout needs. Either I could use numerous exercise equipment on the floor and, or I could join various group classes that are offered. The group classes are in many levels and many forms. From pilate to yoga and many others in between. Low impact to high and I'm able to choose what level I prefer. They have well trained, quality instructors as well, which is very important to me.
The facility is clean. Open 7 days a week. Offers group classes in the mornings, afternoons and evenings, closing only on main holidays. The equipment area is open to all during the open hours of the facility.
Most importantly, the people from the front desk, instructors, and to the participants are super nice in this facility!

Plano Family YMCA is close to my house but even so, I like this facility more than the other fitness centers that are near me. I like the atmosphere. I like the staff. I like the fact that you have to sign in before you enter the fitness area. I like all the programs that are offered. I just think it’s a great place overall.

The staff is very good and they are running the place really well.
I very much like my trainer Pryanka. The gym is well equipped. I do wish it had a pool with a ramp so disabled members can use it.
I love the Ymca plano family. I love the classes especially the bolly beats classes. Love the instructor Aneesha. She makes the class fun.

Cleanliness
Personal are very friendly and they have enough workout machines so that you do not have to wait long to get the ones you want.
The Live Strong program for Cancer survivors is really awesome - I made friends and we enjoy working out together.
Clean facility - not too crowded - people are there to workout and improve their health not to show off - staff is friendly and extremely helpful - facility is always clean and organized
The sense of community
Classes included in membership fee is a huge plus!!
Floor exercise equipment and area is always clean. Having sanitizing wipes is a great way to keep equipment clean as possible!

I love my home location, the staff is amazing and the instructors are very interactive.
Dance group exercises,Les Mills workout formats and yoga sessions and friendly and motivating instructors
The people are very nice.
Yoga instructors Aleda Keel, Manisha, and Antonette are tops in my book.
Workout area has lots of apparatus, and area is very clean, abundant parking, and very helpful, cheerful staff.
