The kids loved the camp. They are on a schedule, they got to do fun activities on the lake and on land. Its also nice they they are with 1 counselor the entire week. This means they get to know the counselor and build rapport. Everyone at the camp were nice and really great.

Staff members are friendly and it’s a clean facility.

The boys loved camp. The only thing I would say is they wished they got to do more tubing and boating activities. They also wished on the really hot days there was a little time in the AC but overall they loved it.
People are very friendly. Love the young kids at the counter.
There are a variety of classes offered each day with an affordable monthly due. Friendly staff and Clean facility. Close to home.
The hours and the avaliable equipment the staff is great and very helpful.

Not only can I use my membership here in Mckinney, where I live, I also go to the Y in Plano once a week. When I’m in Katy, Texas, I use their facilities, I like that flexibility. The fact that you can take a class or just work out on your own, or use a personal trainer, is a great benefit available to all.

My daughter has been going to camp on the lake for 3 summers in a row. She loves it. She has enjoyed the activities. The only suggestion I’d make is for the lifeguards or counselors to teach the kids swimming. Not sure if it is feasible but it will make the experience more memorable. I know all kids are required to wear a lifejacket while they are in the water, but perhaps there can be an option for the parents to “opt-in” to instructional swimming?
The staff was very friendly, helpful and our kids loved all the lake activities! After day 1, my daughter was already asking to go again next summer.

Everyone is so friendly. From the moment I walked in there it felt like home. The front desk is helpful, and they make sure all your questions are answered.
The classes are numerous and well staffed with great instructors. The machines are well maintained and clean.
I highly recommend the Plano YMCA.
A great staff coupled with a clean and well equipped facility make for a great experience.
Senior management , Kathy and Priya are available and helpful and always ready to answer question and accept recommendations.
Paul does a great job in keeping the facility clean and safe.
Michelle and John at the front desk are cheerful and welcoming when you arrive or leave.
In short this is an excellent Y and clearly meets the expectation one would have for a FAMILY Y
