My son went to YMCA Camp on the Lake for the first time this summer and loved it! He’s already asked me to go back next year! He came home dirty everyday from playing outside all day with friends, which as parents, we loved because it meant he was engaged all day and not tied to a screen. He also said the counselors were cool. The drop off and pick up process was super easy, and the camp’s hours were great for full-time working parents.
I absolutely love the different classes available. My favorite is the bollybeats class.

The YMCA of Plano is always clean and weights are organized and not scattered all over the gym. Staff is very friendly also.

The kids loved the camp. They are on a schedule, they got to do fun activities on the lake and on land. Its also nice they they are with 1 counselor the entire week. This means they get to know the counselor and build rapport. Everyone at the camp were nice and really great.

The boys loved camp. The only thing I would say is they wished they got to do more tubing and boating activities. They also wished on the really hot days there was a little time in the AC but overall they loved it.
People are very friendly. Love the young kids at the counter.
There are a variety of classes offered each day with an affordable monthly due. Friendly staff and Clean facility. Close to home.

Not only can I use my membership here in Mckinney, where I live, I also go to the Y in Plano once a week. When I’m in Katy, Texas, I use their facilities, I like that flexibility. The fact that you can take a class or just work out on your own, or use a personal trainer, is a great benefit available to all.
