Very friendly coaches, my son is very young and they made sure he was involved as much as able. Upheld the weekly practices and games and mostly every kid showed up , diverse which is very important to us.
What I enjoy most about the Park South Family YMCA is how new and refreshing everything feels. The building is bright and clean, the pool looks inviting, and there is every piece of exercise equipment you could imagine. The people are friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful.
They offer a wide variety of group exercise classes, and there’s even a full basketball court inside the building. If basketball isn’t your thing, you can play tennis, volleyball, or pickleball — and they’re always introducing something new.
If you’re not in the mood for physical activity, there’s a comfortable breakroom where people read, play games, learn new crafts, and sometimes even take part in cooking classes. One of my favorite parts is the Bible study class. Right now, we’re studying the Book of Revelation. Everyone is welcome — whether you’re deeply familiar with Scripture or just beginning to learn.
Since this is a brand‑new building, they also have a daycare center. Truly, something is happening or being introduced every day. It’s a place full of life, community, and opportunity.

The front desk staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The facility is well maintained and there are a variety of classes to take and gym equipment to workout.
We absolutely love the Park South Family YMCA. From the moment we walk through the doors, the staff makes us feel like family. The welcome desk team is phenomenally warm, greets us with genuine smiles, and already knows me by name, which makes every visit start on such a positive note.
As a parent, what truly sets this facility apart is their inclusivity and care. The aquatics team and lifeguards are incredibly attentive and sensitive to my neurodivergent son's needs. They create a safe, understanding environment that allows him to enjoy the water comfortably, giving me immense peace of mind. It is rare to find a place where every single staff member is this thoughtful, observant, and dedicated to making all families feel genuinely included. We are so grateful to have this YMCA as a core part of our community!
I stopped by the Park South YMCA to check out their pool facilities. It looks beautiful and I might stop by again to swim there. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

I’d like to provide feedback on the grounds. The playground/basketball often contains weeds growing from the mulch. I’d like to see it maintained as well as the plants that help make the place beautiful.

Swimming pool time.\n I have a spine condition.. Injury, it allows me to exercise without pain. And availability of all equipment to exercise lift weights and the people that are very nice seniors to converse with

YMCA SHOULD HAVE A DIGITAL ACTIVITY BOARD OR DIGITAL ADVERTISEMENT BOARD TO INFORM MEMBERS AND GUESTS OF THE PROGRAM THERE. I’ve observed ppl glancing at pamphlets only to place them black on the counter.
The digital board will give sight and conversation to the ppl sitting in the relaxed lounging area. Videos could also be a factor in getting ppl willing to join a class. Video ppl working out with permission of course, or video the entire workout area in general. Baby accommodations, gym, Rms if needed for a special event. Corporate scheduled times, days, weekends, events & daily opening & closing. YMCA amenities coffee & tea cups provided.

It's a very nice, clean and modern facility and the staff is very nice and friendly.
I enjoy just associating with the Y members, and the staff is very nice and helpful.
I like that there’s a variety of options for equipment and classes so you can go at your own pace or try to keep up with the instructor.
