I am doing exercises with Giana. Seeing a lot of older people I happy with the YMCA
The variety of classes, the equipment is maintained well, good instructors.
I enjoy exercising without “machines” too and am always trying to find ways to challenge my strength, flexibility and endurance in more creative ways
I just love going to this Y, as people are friendly -- not only the members, but the staff. I've never been disappointed during my visits. And the Y is undergoing some needed renovation, which is also a good thing.
Love the water aerobic program but wish the teaching could be more consistent. Have you ever considered training water aerobic teachers at the Y ? Some of the life guards might want to participate.
Great place, I love it!
Friendly staff, cleanliness, excellent instructors, variety of group exercises
The cleanliness and all the equipment that is offered. Very friendly staff.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good class instructors that make workouts fun. Solid facilities. And the good members I see everyday.
It’s good value
The Gym is very nice and always very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Just a great place to stay in shape and have fun.
I appreciate the fully renovated facility, however it doesn't seem to really fix a lot of the issues in the prior building (other than removing asbestos). First, the weight area is much too small and crowded compared to every other gym in the area. I'm not seeing any meaningful improvement from the old building. Second, there are not enough treadmills. The treadmills and aerobics should be on the second floor (if you cannot walk up stairs, you shouldn't be on the treadmill) and the first floor should be all weights. I know this won't change, but I want to mention anyways.
Also - the towels are terrible.
Everything
I like the YMCA family
Great gym
I like the circuit weights, stationary bike and love the pool. The lifeguards are so nice and the music at the pool is relaxing. I use the gym m and pool several times a week.
The Moody Y does a great job with classes and pickleball. I only wish we had more pickleball times. The club is always clean and the staff friendly and professional.

Friendly people all over from workers to members
Great equipment
First, Kayla Brown, my personal trainer.
Then the location and variety of services.
Small, but not too.
The facility and the staff are always very professional.
Convenience and how nice staff is.
The staff is friendly and the facility is clean and convenient!
Clean, convenient

Friendly environment
New machines are great. Everyone is always friendly and I like the upstairs reconfiguration for the most part. The only things that are missing, it would be nice to have one of the Woodway curved treadmills back facing the window where the exercise bikes are... they are in the middle of the space and there is not a TV or anything to look at in that section; just staring at people working out in front of you. Also, where is the exercise rope upstairs? It was one of my favorite parts of my workout and it is gone now.
Cleanliness of facility, large variety of machines and equipment
The spirit is strong, the coaching is positive and motivating for the kids, the commitment is reasonable, and above all my child’s water confidence has improved dramatically, which is the key reason we joined . Gaining skills and stamina will open the doors to all things recreational in or near water. We are thankful for the BREAKERS!
I'm coaching my third/youngest child's soccer team this year after my older two (now junior and senior at HPHS) benefitted from Y sports at Moody all through their childhood. I've always believed that elementary/middle school children shouldn't decide that they're not good enough to continue in a sport that they enjoy. I'm grateful for a fun way to keep them involved and developing. My older two never played club soccer and made the high school teams at HP after only playing for Providence (and Y teams) through middle school. When everyone else seems to leave for club teams in all the sports early in elementary, the Y teams provide a place for kids to continue to develop and sometimes reveal significant talent.
Also, I was very grateful for the FC Trinity soccer coaching clinic last Sunday - it was very helpful.

The variety of classes is great. However they are WAY overcrowded and the instructors don't kick anyone out because they enjoy being popular. A normal feeling. At least can you ask Angela NOT to make us use the step, bands, gliders, and weights, several sizes all at once? There is not room for all of that.
