I have been participating in water aerobics 6 days a week for almost 2 years. I love the instructors(mostly). The Y workers are all friendly and always willing to help even if it is a complaint. My only complaint has been notification of Y pool closings due to lightening but I think we have gotten that fixed on my phone with a direct text from the pool mgr.

Coach Ross is awesome! And, Elvin has thoroughly enjoyed his experience swimming on the Moody Y swim team. In addition to the awesome coaching, the kids and families participating are a true joy to interact with.
I appreciated the pools that offer different experiences. I am recovering from a cardiac event in May of 2025, so I definitely appreciate the exercise pool and its temperature.
I look forward to getting back into lap swimming in the lap pool.

We love the White Rock and the Moody Family YMCA! Both facilities are always clean, we have a quite knowledgable, courteous and enthusiastic staff, and it is always a friendly and neighborly community!

I really like this YMCA over many, the facilities are clean, they have fresh towels each visit unlike many other YMCA’S. Very friendly staff who are competent and knowledgeable. The weekly and monthly schedules for various activities are consistent and this is very important for individuals who drive distance to come work out regularly. I love the care and genuine love that Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Emily show towards every one, it is what makes me feel appreciated, highly valued and included in the Moody family YMCA community. They make me feel very special no matter if I am there one day or every of the week. I am grateful for the support and encouragement they have given me over the years, such great assets they bring to this community. Mr. Devin is also an incredible person and was great at helping me get the best fitness goals accessed and put into practice that were non intimidating realistic goals for my best overall future health planning . I think that it is incredibly important to see how this YMCA helps all populations of people thrive by empowering special needs individuals thrive. It is amazing to witness and connect with people who present with daily challenges such as myself come into this family and experience personal growth and success. I am grateful for the YMCA in general, assistance to improve the quality of life by having such a diverse population and workforce. Thank you Moody family YMCA for allowing me truly connect with you. As a returning YMCA member, this is my first time at Moody Y. I must say everything about the experience so far has been a positive experience. I registered online, called before I came and spoke with the front desk. My arrival and entry was pleasant, including the underground parking. The facility is modern, clean and not too busy.

There are a lot of free classes that are excellent, and there is a good variety. I do wish that the Y would enforce size limits and requiring people to sign up. Some of the classes get too crowded.
