All instructors were the perfect blend of firm and clear with instruction, but supportive of my son who was a bit nervous about swimming. They celebrated each of his successes in the pool. I greatly enjoyed Grace, she did a wonderful job with my son.

Likes the Y better. He is big for his age and being able to swim the whole length of the pool is awesome for him. He has more swim time even with 3 or 4 other kids in his “class”. He is learning so much more here.

This is my second time with swim lessons at the Y. Our first experience several years ago was so-so. However, we could not be happier with the quality of the instructors this time! Hannah is with my 3 yo and is AMAZING! I wish I could remember the name of the other lifeguard who helped when we were having a particularly rough class. With both instructors, my daughter seemed to have regressed, was crying (sobbing) and very scared. They each took her aside, got her to communicate/trust them and then began very basic water play. By the end of the lesson, my daughter was jumping into their arms. A++
