Great staff and classes
Friendly staff
I enjoy the swimming pool, the hot tub and the Y staff. Everyone who works at the Y is kind, knowledgeable, and friendly.
My only complaints are that the hot tub is often broken, and the locker room showers/toilets all have maintenance issues frequently. However, that is being addressed, so soon that will no longer be the case.
The cleaners in the locker room are fantastic - they are always present, wiping the floor, counters, etc. However, the cleaning materials given to them are sub-par for actual cleaning. Perhaps this is due to the cleaning companies supplies. For example, the mops they have only push around the dirt, rather than having a scrubber portion to actually clean the tile. Frequently, the shower walls and floors are moldy or grimy. The cleaning products are not strong enough to eliminate the dirt/mold without serious scrubbing. My complaint about the cleanliness of the women's locker room does not reflect the cleaners, just the products they are given to use.

I went to the open house on Saturday 9/23/23.
It was the first time to go to the Franklin YMCA.
I was surprised by the size of the facility and to see so many members involved.
I wanted to participate to a class directed by Fitness Instructor Jill Bell. She was really good. A true fitness, wellness professional. I was very impressed by the intensity of her class and her ability to have the participants involved.
She is projecting a positive image of the YMCA in Franklin. I will strongly recommend Franklin to someone looking to become member.

Love the outdoor pool. And the facility is clean,with very friendly employees. Wish you had more family swim times for the indoor pool during the winter.

A good variety of workout equipment.
My grandchildren were in Tee Ball last spring, swimming lessons in the summer and are currently enrolled in the Sept -June swim lessons. Every coach and swim instructor has been great! They love going to the Y !!

Lots of options at the center for whatever your wants and needs are and the summer camp was great for the kids!
Love the classes (child in Swim Starters Stage C). However, sometimes the student:teacher ratio is too high if only one teacher is there. They only g0t a couple of turns with the teacher and stood on the platform the majority of the time.
The activities engaged and interested my son. His stokes improved to a level which he says he’s ready for intramurals.
Using the pool and the gym!
Depends on where you live or work. They are part of the Hockomock Area YMCA so once joined you can go here or N. Attleboro or Foxboro. Or all of them to get all the activities you like. I have been joining and going to YMCA's for 50 years. As I have moved around I have joined several.
As I travel, I have gone to ones in many different places. Once you join one you can go to any a few times.
I worked near the Franklin one so joined here. Work habits changed and I now go to the Foxboro one all the time. I hardly ever go to Franklin any longer. Nothing wrong with Franklin it is just not on my current rounds.

Stronger together program has great instructors in a semi-private setting. Also the drop in classes offer additional options and variety.
