At this time I only use the gym so I don’t know, but I know that my wife loves the aerobic’s programs very much, on the floor and the pool
Pool and low impact classes
Everything is perfect. I like especially the programs that you have for the toddler and kid’s age.
The swimming and the gym area are always clean.
I like also the walking and running circular area in the second floor because i don’t like running on machines so that was perfect for me especially in the cold weather.
Thank you for all the services and the work you do.
I love the staff and the trainers! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly!
group ex clssses
They are inclusive for all ages and abilities. The staff is welcoming and available to assist and answer questions.
Someone needs to reconsider the 11:00 AM Zumba Gold class on Friday. Please take a survey of the current participants of Rachel's 11:00 AM Monday and Wednesday classes as I doubt that you will find many who want to attend the Zumba gold. Last Monday, for example, we had 37+ attendees in Rachel's class. Today, Wednesday, we had 25+ in class which is the minimum that she draws for a class right now.
Although I have given up going to your YMCA on Friday, I worry that I need that third day in my weekly schedule. In the winter, it is too hard to go to another Y while my husband still goes to your Y. He loves the pool and the bike for his usual routine as everything is on one level.
One suggestion that I made to Meredith a while back was to introduce a class on Friday similar to one that is offered at the North Easton YMCA. *** It is one hour long and uses music similar to what Rachel uses. Everyone has a chair, weights, stretch bands, rubber bands, 10" rubber balls, TRX, etc.. The TRX is nice although I understand that Foxboro only has a few of these and TRX is not critical to this suggestion. My point is that I can't get up and down on the floor very easily. So, this means that Meredith's Wednesday Low Impact Fitness class won't work for me. ***Stretch and tone Gold: An overall total body workout. Move to music with a low impact routine that incorporates cardiovascular training, strengthening and balance exercises. Use of chairs for all types of balance and movement. Reduce risk of osteoporosis, heart disease, diabetes, etc. NO FLOOR Activity. Enjoy. Friday, one hour: 10:15-11:15 Submitted by Name removed Phone number removed Email address removed
Water aerobics with Meredith. Love this class, because she is very engaging & makes exercising fun. She’s terrific.
Broad array of activities and programs
Lots of different classes . Great instructors and staff.
I have enjoyed the Aqua Aerobics programs at the Foxboro Y while the North Attleboro Y has been remodeling their pool.
Hockomock Y is an intergenerationally friendly space. I like the classes, the track, the fitness center, the pool is a not-yet. The staff is friendly and respectful. Good activities for seniors. I like the quietness of the track during school hours as I avoid winter exposure to respiratory pathogens in great concentration.
Variety of classes, and services
Group classes such as Move and Groove, Zumba Gols and Aqua Exercise.
Warmth and encouragement of staff.
I enjoy the classes… barre, total body fitness, weight class
Clean and well maintained equipment. If you can get there before the high school kids descend you rarely have to wait for a machine
Activities for all ages and good leaders for all of them
the pool is clean and warm. I love the hot tub and the walking track. The staff is friendly and price is reasonable.
Variety of programs and options for exercise
Friendliness of staff and a welcoming place!
Swimming, is the main reason I go to the Y. It is a sport unique to the Y this area and many communities. I started swimming at the Y in high school over 50 years ago. Was on swim teams in both high school and college. It has been the foundation of my lifelong fitness efforts. I feel that all of their youth programs are vital from day care, threw all of the camps, to all of the other sporting activates, and the teen programs to give them a safe place to hang out.
The Y offers a variety of programs and the staff is inviting, professional and helpful.
Enjoy walking track and the classes with Rachel, Stephanie and of course Meredith.
Front desk always friendly and welcoming.
Very friendly staff; variety of activities available. I'm an older adult and I like that I don't feel out of place.
