new pool is beautiful
Great staff! Wonderful programs. Plenty of equipment.
HockMock has a good variety of equipment, work out classes, trainers, swimming pools .
Multiple classes that interest me at convenient times.
So impressed by the organization that was put into Kindergarten basketball. The coaches were so fabulous and really seemed to enjoy their job! My son will never coach Owen! Everything ran so smoothly and all details were communicated on a weekly basis. Great job Coach Ross & team!
The Foxboro Branch offers a wide array of programs and activities. I can find something to do each day.
I like all of the different anctivity options. But mostly I like the pool and the walking track.
We love the Y. I grew up a YMCA kid and I feel it’s important my kids and family do the same. My kids love the play area, we love the fitness room and gym, and my son goes to the Wapaca camp. We are very thankful to have a great YMCA in our community.
- the variety of group exercise classes offered, although I do wish there were more Zumba and High Low offered in the evenings of Thur-Sun
- workout area with the machines
- the availability of walking/jogging track at any time
I love all the water classes especially Aqua Zumba!
I typically use the track or the pool when I am there.
Always looking for new programs to introduce
Employees are friendly, pleasant, kind and helpful. Gym is a little smaller than some gyms, making it less intimidating for a senior citizen. People of all ages are exercising in their own way, at their own pace. Yet it has all the machines and equipment you need. It's enjoyable!
So far I have only used the track. It is very clean and the workers are very helpful. I look forward to doing more at your facility.
family friendly atmosphere where we can swim, walk, and workout together!
I enjoy all that the Y has to offer. I would like to mention though that my son is in the Sunday at 9:40AM swim that began in February. The first class on 2/4 was with a female instructor, she did not introduce herself. My son went in the water a total of 2 times in 30 minutes. There were 3 kids total, she spent 5 minutes in the beginning and 10 minutes toward the end talking to a child and his parent that did not want to go in the water. I did not think this was appropriate for those that wanted to go in the water. Also, she would suggest an exercise and the kids would not respond or one child would shake their head and she would say okay well we won’t do that and she just did not seem prepared as you could tell she was trying to think of the next thing to do. The two times he was in the water, she just took him for a ride on the noodle. The second class on 2/11 had a male instructor, his name was Dylan. He did well and I am very happy with his instruction and teaching.
Your staff is very friendly. The Y has a terrific variety of programs. I enjoy the classes, especially Move and Groove with Rachel. It gets me going for the rest of my day!
Foxboro Y has many classes that cater to all ages. There is a variety of group exercise classes that can help you in your journey to your fitness goals. Come and try out a class or two and build great healthy relationships with other members.
I like that there's a place for my kids and I to be involved and do things together. So many places are just for kids or geared more toward adults but the Y has something for everyone.
Very good facilities and reasonably good hours for 7 days a week.
Great exercise class teachers - from Zumba to Yoga to Stretch and Core. The environment is welcoming and family-oriented. My family and I have been a member for years and we’ve participated in everything from summer camp to the Livestrong program for cancer survivors. Highly recommend!
Lots of options!
Classes are great and times are good. If you don’t make it on time there is always another class you can go too.
Great workout equipment & classes
Variety and availability.
I use the pool for aqua aerobics and low impact aqua aerobics. I find these classes to be great for exercise and socializing, both important for my age as a senior citizen. I find the classes essential to help with my ongoing joint problems.
