The staff is open to feedback, so the classes reflect what the members want. The staff in the Wellness center and Membership are great at making everyone feel welcome.
Every interaction I have ever had with staff, in 21 years of membership, has shown that their motivation is to serve & create a positive environment for community members. The Y has always been my haven, and it is thanks to the terrific staff.

The Y is a great place for general fitness. Many options to get in shape.
For people that are interested in strength training or training for a specific sport the Y may not be the best option but for the majority of people that are just trying to stay healthy it's a great choice.
Excellent childcare, friendly, positive staff (front desk and instructors), well kept facility, and good classes.

Zumba. But you need more space as people to close together in small rooms. Could mean accidents for some of the elderly in some classes. Love all instructors! Very Clean in all areas!!

The use of the pool with some quiet hours without little children always around!

Friendly staff
I joined so I could have access to a personal trainer who would help me become stronger as I age. I have had two joint replacements and I need to keep myself healthy and strong to protect my joints. I love working with my trainer. I also love the 1/2 hour sessions and strongly urge you to keep those for those of us who prefer the 1/2 hour sessions.
The instructor's are top notch. The many programs and activities are well managed, organized and professionally run. I always benefit from my classes.
I like swimming classes the most.
All good. Swim program much improved under Mathew. Can't say enough good things about my instructors, Sharon, Jill, Clara, and Liz. Stephanie too. Front staff is great too.
Wish you could bring back Balance and Core for the old folks. Jill's Tuesday AM class is bursting. Consider moving to half gym? I know its a pain to have to drag the weights around.

The Y has been a great place for our child to find belonging and encouragement. Child watch, programs, and camp have all played a big role in his life since he was a toddler. He’s also had opportunities to learn what it means to give back to the community, and we’ve had chances to enjoy activities together as a family as too.
I have the opportunity to exercise, meet up with others and catch up with friends.
I am Grateful for the opportunities the Y provides me. Overall health is a priority.

The instructors are upbeat, knowledgeable and offer moderations which I think is very important in classes that have a large range of ages. People have different ranges of mobility which I think is addressed for the most part.
