My grandson is playing in league basketball through SpartanNash YMCA. He is gaining skills and growing in confidence. His coach is challenging him to learn, but is also very fair and gentle. He's participated in other basketball leagues, but this is by far the best experience he's had.

Basketball is a great experience for my son. 1/2 hour practice & 1/2 hour game is the perfect amount of time for each for a kindergartner boy! Good competing and a lot of fun. Thanks
I love all the amenities and classes offered! The only downside is having limited hours. It would be nice if the facility was open until 10pm.
Great job overall by the team. New updates and equipment have been a nice addition. Kid zone staff is more qualified than MFB location. Recommend that MFB location adopts a more inclusive kid zone staff.
I work till 530 during the week and this makes a challenge for getting in any evening classes. I am a member of the Spartan Nash YMCA largely because I can get in 2 Body Pump classes in the evenings in the course of the week. I have been a long standing member of these classes and have developed friendships and rapport with other members that is also a very rewarding aspect. The Saturday classes and weekend available hours are also a big plus for options in getting in a workout. The staff is helpful and friendly and contributes to an environment of belonging to the members.
Love the aquatic classes & pool.
We go for the aquatic classes on Wednesday and we find that the instructor and the students are both very friendly. This makes the time spent there enjoyable..
I enjoyed the small class size and variety of sports. Coach Carlie was wonderful with the kids and parents.

It is clean (not as clean as when I was a prior member but decent). Staff is friendly and welcoming. The other reason I chose to join the Y is the personal training and group classes.
I would like to give a huge kudos to Trainer Josh! I am on my second week and not only does he keep me motivated, but he pushes me to do the stuff I really don't want to do!
I am not a fan of planet fitness. They remind me of those fly by night cheap gyms....her today gone tomorrow and their staff is not very knowledgeable.
