Great staff and working out with great people, everyone is friendly.
I liked riding the elevator with Rashound
Family friendly and staff are very helpful
The new locker rooms are so nice, nicer than my bathroom at my apartment! I love the gym equipment too!
I love this Y, especially the aquatic staff since I mainly go for the pool workout but also your front desk staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The new renovations are amazing and beautiful colors and atmosphere created. Thank you for all that you do!!!
It’s clean, the child care is amazing, the staff is all nice, and our son loves it!
Friendly atmosphere. Personal trainer experience is very helpful as a beginner to get familiar with machines.
The new locker rooms are gorgeous. All of the improvements are noted. It is one of the few places that you can actually play racquetball still.
Great treadmills and pools
My boys were very engaged with the coach and have had a great experience learning some basketball fundamentals. Facility is always clean and welcoming.
Love the pool, love the fitness floor, the TRACK, the classes, and KIDSZONE! We especially love the Sunday classes and kidszone hours. It is one of the few days we can make it in.
I love the location of the building and the staff are really nice!
The friendliness and the classes
I like that it meets all of our needs as a family. My husband and I workout 4-5 days a week at the YMCA and can make that possible thanks to your childcare. We are also able to take our kids swimming throughout the winter when we are all battling cabin fever. We also participate in the US date night offerings throughout the month-- it's helpful for us since we do not live close to family and finding a reliable babysitter can be hard.
The upstairs gym is our favorite. We love the machine/ equipment offerings for lifting. And love that their is a track built around the weightlifting area.
The class size first and foremost was the best thing about our experience. For my kids to learn how to swim with only two other children was perfect, I hope the ratios never change! The patience of the instructor (and the sub instructor this week) was also such a great help. These two are really wonderful young women and have done so well with my kids, who are both Autistic and sometimes need a little extra. Thank you!
Art Schmeling as Masters on deck coach is far more than that. Yes he has helped me improve my stroke. But more importantly to GRYMCA and DDH he is the welcoming person to whomever enters the pool area, giving helpful suggestions to others, adjusting our lane use to accommodate individual swimmers, assisting lifeguards on occasion, all while coaching 25+ masters swimmers. Three years ago there were only 4-6 masters members . Art is the reason for such significant growth. He doesn't get the credit he deserves.
The swimming classes the machines
Allie - you are your team are ROCKING this construction!!
Good group exercise classes (Spin).
I love the space and atmosphere. It's just been alot of construction internal and external lately which is why not a 10. I also wish there was open swim on Saturdays and not classes...
You do a nice job with the exercise classes.
Absolutamente todo
Love the upgrades! Friendly staff.
The access to a bright indoor track on days where the weather prevents running outside.
I love that many different community members come together at the Y!
My 5:15 am morning classes I love.
Love 6:00 am Friday Bootcamp.
Right now I am finding the Friday morning 6:00 am u to yoga disappointing, so I am attending Bootcamp instead.
Really happy Tim is regular on Tuesday’s- though I miss Martina and Katie as they were great.
The new parking situation is frustrating because only one vehicle can be registered. That doesn’t make the transition helpful or smooth.
A few bicycles in the cycling room need to be recalibrated and bike #3 needs the monitor replaced.
How big it is. And little nooks to workout in and so much to do. Can spend half a day there easily.
I only started coming to the YMCA in May of this year and I can't believe how many resources are available to me with the most basic membership. All I've explored so far is lifting equipment (everything I could possibly need), track, group classes, sauna and hot tub in the beautiful new women's locker room. I'm so grateful for the resource. And there are always staff members around to answer my questions about machines or accessing different areas of the gym that I haven't been to before. Shout out to Cindi for step cardio on Tuesday's, she was a joy to learn from and the space was so supportive.
Clean, quiet updated equipment and weights.
I didn’t give a 10 due to the fact I am having an issue scheduling a massage. Twice I have submitted the online form, once emailed the massage therapist with the email supplied on her business card, gave my name and phone number to the front desk….not a single response. Recommend not advertising massages are available when they truly are not.
