Member Testimonials
The coaches were excellent and the skills were taught at a comfortable pace. My kid is thrilled with how much she learned after just a few weeks!
I like the people!
The staff is very attentive to learning and safety.
Diversity,choice of equipment,classes offered and
friendly personnel.
Close to home, great hours, friendly staff. Lots of group fitness classes to choose from if you desire!
This is the driest Y in GR. I love the giant fans. My wife loves the big track that goes around everything.
Love the swim classes with Sue Wilson and Lisa VanElderveld. It’s a clean facility. Very welcoming!
Excellent organization, great pool, wonderful teachers.
Clean facility with lots of natural light. The variety of equipment and resources really helps me focus my workouts on what I want to improve.
The hours available and enough variety of equipment available even on the busiest of days. The staff at the desk is always very friendly and helpful when needed.
The variety of activities.
The size and layout of the facility. It's not downtown so I can park easily and there aren't quite as many people. I love the sauna. The sauna is why I go farther to this location than wwwymca. Thank you for the sauna!!
Friendly and helpful employees.
Size, equipment , pool for lap swimming
clean, quiet.
I like the fact that it has the amenities I like I just wished it Had a steam room also.
Great!
Diverse and friendly membership, great instructors, good facilities, pickleball!
Great place to workout, great culture. I love to go and be inspired by people that want to be healthy and strong.
Classes, Kid zone, programs for kids!
The basketball class was such a great experience for my seven-year-old! The coaches were enthusiastic and made learning and practicing the skills fun. There was also direct instruction in how to execute specific skills and the opportunity to practice and improve. We definitely recommend the class!
We have completed our first year of membership and it is the first time in my life that I have looked forward to exercising. Group fitness was the key!
My son is 11 years old and I am happy that we can use the equipment together. Some of it was even available for use at age 5!
MVP has a higher age limit and nothing fun for older kids to do while parents are exercising. Their child care area seems to be for younger kids.
Love my spin classes !
The friendly positive attitude of members and staff. The incredible instructors and the welcoming atmosphere.
The staff are always friendly and helpful, the trainers are all amazing, the people who are there to workout are very polite and friendly for the most part. However, upper management seems to be out of touch with the needs of the members. This gym is not your typical college athletes gym; there is a wide diversity of ages, abilities and special needs of specific equipment.
My daughter has learned so much just in these few weeks of the class. Her instructor is so patient and friendly, as I have observed all the other instructors being as well. She feels more confident then ever about swimming!
I like the exercise equipment that suits my needs, the trampoline for rebounding an eight pound ball (I missed it when it was removed for a time), the track for walking which protects from strain on the knees. I admire the multiple groups of persons that use the facility and I am inspired by the care and attention toward those with physical challenges. It is a comfort to always have a coach or two on duty for consultation and observation of how things are going.
I speak often about my satisfaction with the MFB YMCA. Joan Williams
