Miss Patty is wonderful, my two year old loves the program. I wish there was more time that the pool was open that I could have my kids in it.
A gym that is well equiped with all the machines for any kind of exercise or activity, And, this is
really important, the entire gym is CLEAN. Especially with this Covid virus that is mutating, and
will most likely be here forever. We all need to stay safe and healthy.
The caregivers are friendly & my kids like to be there
Plenty of machines however some are getting close to each other. The green mat to stretch is in between the weight lifting sections and members walk back and forth with weights while others stretching seems like an accident waiting to happen? Also on the green mat area members stretching with poles and occasionally swinging them like a bat. The phones are used everywhere! The workout floor, locker rooms, and sauna. The phone use in between sets with members playing games is inconsiderate and hogs the machine.
Lastly I’ve noticed one picture of MLK for Black History month. That’s it?

Based at the school, so very convenient. The carers are friendly and competent. My daughter enjoys being there, and it sounds like there is a good balance of activities and free time. Flexible drop-off / pick-up times. Covers the full working day. Good value.
flexibility and variety of group exercise programming
I have participated in the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday water aerobics classes since joining the SOMERSET HILLS YMCA in late Spring. I have found the classes to be a great way to exercise in the water. Each of the instructors has her own style and if you can avail yourself to several classes a week it provides an excellent water workout.
I am presently taking a series of private swimming lessons with Stacey. She is an
extremely experienced swimmer and obviously an outstanding swimming instructor. I view swimming is an important Life Skill. I did not learn to swim as a child. I have also taken swimming lessons with other teachers. After just a few lessons with Stacey I now have confidence to feel I can actually swim several times a week for exercise AND improve.

Tbe instructors/coaches are all knowledgeable, great and caring.
The social interaction part is extremely important and seems to be webbed into each program.

I love he pools! My aquatics classes are great. I wish we had the availability of classes like we had pre-covid- 3 times a day!!

Good experience for kids. Having a dedicated instructor is good for their confidence. I do wish that registration process was not so difficult. Classes filled up in 4 minutes of online registration beginning and I couldn’t include one of my three children in the program.
