I recently went through very serious back surgery and walking again was questionable. I joined the YMCA several weeks ago after taking a tour with Ashley. I had no idea the place was as nice as it is and the pools and exercise equipment were excellent. I immediately took advantage of the free upfront training program and Chris. He was very patient and helpful in developing a program for my special needs. I also starting attending the water exercise classes and they have helped tremendously in getting me back in shape and walking again. The water exercise instructors are all very helpful and caring people.....also the people in class made me feel at home right away even though I am usually the only male in the class most times :). I feel very fortunate to have joined the YMCA and all the staff that I have interacted with to date have very courteous, helpful and professional.....it has been a true pleasure.

I am very pleased with the Y experience except for the Pickelball Clinic. The charge was $5 / session then it changed to having you sign up for all sessions at $140. I only wanted 1 one hour session and was put on a waiting list from the original notice and was then never informed of the change or if I was accepted for a class.

I like the Wellness Center. It’s clean and organized. I am thrilled it’s getting new cardio equipment on Friday, March 31st which is long overdue. The staff working at the 5:00 am hour is professional and friendly while ensuring everything is in working order.
