Everything! The facility is spacious and has great equipment. All of the weight and cardio machines are constantly maintained in peak working condition. The staff and other patrons are courteous and friendly.

I like the Hal Welsh YMCA because it welcomes persons of all physical abilities as well as ethnicities.
The facility is always clean and well maintained and the employees are always ready to help. A great place, though I hope the heat problem in the cardio room is fixed.
Great basketball game. I hope we can someday renovate the courts, so that they are not on top of concrete.
I love the classes for older adults and the friendliness of the instructors and people working at the desk. They are the first people you meet, they greet you by name, a smile, and inviting warmth. Everyone at the Y feels like a friend!!

Overall the experience is great. The facilities are more than adequate and the YMCA seems to have everything that we need.
One improvement for Hal Welsh would be to open at 5 A.M.!

Group exercise classes
The staff is helpful and quick to give you assistance. Teachers show interest in listening to the group participating in their class., creating a friendly situation for all.

staff is friendly. place is always pretty clean. There been improvements in repairs of machines in a more timely fashion. I think they are still understaffed with trainers because you don't really see any in the strength or cardio rooms, unless they are stocking towels. Love the sense of community I get from belonging here. My impression is the vast majority of members and guests feel very safe.
2 large pools. Separate showers and a bathing suit dryer. Friendly, efficient, professional staff. Plenty of exercise equipment and gym space. I always enjoy going to this YMCA.
The YMCA in Fayetteville has something for everyone. And AOA group is the best. There are lectures, classes and tours. The walking club is a lot of fun. There are days I'm over there 2 or 3 times for different things.
