I like the variety of workout equipment available. It's also nice to have a pool and whirlpool. The staff also are quite friendly and helpful.
Everyone is very friendly and the facility is clean. Our son has been at UPK there this year and we absolutely love it. Everyone we have had contact with has been extremely professional and pleasant to work with.

The exercise classes, heated therapy pool and classes, friendly and helpful staff , art classes and one day events
A while back there were some concerns that I raised. I am happy to report that everything has been addressed and there has been an extremely noticeable difference in the condition of the facilities. I am extremely grateful that the staff listened to my concerns and took action.
I recently took an art class there in the studio. The instructors were kind and very helpful. I felt very welcomed. I look forward to taking some exercise classes there.
Group exercise, eFit, chair yoga, DWC, great community! Classes for seniors. 😁

The place is big and clean. There is so much to do for all ages and abilities. The YMCA is a real asset to the community!

Great community center which features a superb gym with cardio equipment and a great aquatic center.
Coffee station out front with HDTV , seating and tables available for members to join together and converse. Wonderful customer service provided by Member services. Member services are friendly and helpful in assisting members at the front desk. Very positive atmosphere with all staff members who say hello with each encounter. I definitely recommend Hal Welsh East Area Family YMCA!
EGYM is a wonderful addition. Many cardio options as well.
