I love going to the YMCA with my family. There are 3 things that could be better. The hours on Saturday and Sunday are not late enough also child care on Sunday would be great as well. The last thing is when my older children did swimming lessons it was free with the membership, now it's $40 per child which is an extreme amount especially when you are a single parent working part time and have more than one child going to the lessons. It should go back to being free with membership or on a sliding fee just as the membership is.

Friendly staff. Lots of classes.
I feel the most welcome at the North Area Y (compared to the other branches). The employees and members are so friendly. The lap pool is also the most welcoming as a lap swimmer, which is a wonderful experience.
The facility is very clean. Not too big. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. I like the machine area with the windows to look out and let light in.
aquatic center is very well-kept compared to other YMCA facilities in the area.
I think the staff is friendly and helpful. The machines are in good repair.
The pool classes and chair yoga. The people at the front desk always greet you when you come in. The building is clean.

I swim laps, a couple of times a week. I enjoy using North Area because the pool is lovely and warm. I wish there was light from outside, but I like to think that the lovely wooden ceiling almost makes up for it--I pretend I'm in some lovely Nordic geothermal pool when I'm doing backstroke.

The Staff are very helpful and friendly as well as efficient. I like the multitude of excercise machines and weights in the fitness center

Conveniently located, friendly, helpful staff. Being somewhat disabled, I mainly use the pool. The lifeguards are alert and somewhat friendly. Pool is clean and warm. One huge drawback however, is the ladies shower room. It is freezing in there and could be a little cleaner. Love to go in the sauna for a few minutes after a lukewarm shower. Would be great if water in the showers was warmer.
It would be nice if notifications were given to the members a bit faster. I came to the Y yesterday at one and noticed that I missed breakfast. I must have missed the notification, so I guess it is my fault.
A suggestion might be to notify menbers of special events with posters or actually thru these emails you send out.
Again this could be my fault, but only my thoughts.
I like the people. I really like the exercise classes- the variety, the amount of times different classes are offered, the smallness of the place.
