Kind of a low-key family feel. Feels inclusive, rather than inclusivity being a mere slogan. More subdued than NW. Weight room missing a few things but a more individual, casual feel; quieter, better lighting. Sauna in Ladies room with phones supposedly prohibited. Generally clean women from pool.
NW Y has co-ed Sauna on pool deck - with sweaty people from weight room!! who obviously do not understand Sauna... wearing shoes and sweaty exercise clothes. and most using their phone. No one cares about keeping phones out of the Sauna there (NW)

Busy but not overly crowded facility. Staff and members are very pleasant. Enjoy the multi-use of the gym, especially pickle ball.

The pool, Large space for exercise machines. Lots of classes and options for everyone especially kids. We love the date nights out on Saturday evenings!

I really enjoyed our training time at North for Membership. It was great to be able to mix with other membership staff from different Ys in our area. I think we learn from each other and we all benefited from the knowledge we received.

We love the Y. We have a family membership and our three boys 6, 5 and 10 mos love it there and we trust the wonderful staff with our little people. It's wonderful to be able to have a work put ans know our guys are in good hands

We just moved to Cicero last month. The North Area Family Y has been great so far! Front desk staff are welcoming and friendly. Child watch staff are attentive and caring with my boys.
Amanda on the pool deck has been knowledgeable and helpful and the boys are thriving in their swim lessons with Ms. Kelly!
