The facility and people are all wonderful.
friendly staff and a wide variety of available equipment. I really like the rowing machines which are not available at other Y's.
There are a lot of classes and the workout room is spacious and clean.

All the y staff greet members and visitors everymorning when they sign in and say good morning and thankyou when they sign in. When they leave they say have a nice day and thankyou for choosing us as your y. They also are very nice staff who make coffee every day and are nice to share it with their y members and visitors.

It is a great facility with all kinds of equipment facilities for just about any activity. The people are friendly, and act like they really care about you.
The classes
I’m on a first name basis with the staff and always greeted warmly.
I left my wallet there today and it was returned intact. That kind of character.
Lee, Carol, Ellen, Valerie, Sybil etc etc etc.
All great.

Variety of programs
I love the forever fit and yoga classes.
I like the track and the diverse programs in the Mind/Body Studio & group fitness room that are offered.
I have to acknowledge that lately the floor/rug cleaning has not been up to the usual standards, in the hallways, stairwells and exercise rooms. I realize that during the summertime there are many many more people at the YMCA. But, I have also noticed that I do not see the cleaning carts out and about like they used to be. For the past few years it seemed there was always a worker and a cart, on each floor, whatever time I visited. I am assuming there are staffing issues, which seems to be the case for all establishments. But this issue has been a topic with other people in all of the classes that I attend. Thank you.,
It's VERY VERY CLEAN AND MODERN...
A wonderful range of activities and amenities for the entire family!
The staff accepted my Silver Sneakers membership. I like the poolside shower. The large sauna is one of the nicest I have ever used. The 3 pools make it easier for me to get my laps in. Two curtains per individual shower keeps my towel dry. Very pleased.

I love the Lap Pool and I think the Lifeguards are friendly and are there if you need them.
Variety.
What I don't like: people in the sauna and steam room jumping in the pool all sweaty.
People using the pool going into the locker room all wet. They should dry off in the pool area or shower area. There are many times the locker room floors and benches are all wet from inconsiderate people/kids.
Little kids on the track upstairs running every which way,they aren't supposed to be there. Doesn't happen alot.
Pool lanes closed for lessons and there are no lessons going on.
What I like: the pool, track, gym.
The staff,very friendly.
Coffee and tea. Wish the stop time was extended an hour or 2.
Overall, great place.
1 last thing,I wish the Y was on my insurance list.(BCBS of Illinois),they have many gyms;but, not the Y. A lot of members have that insurance company.
Large, updated facilities. A decent amount of high intensity class options. Plenty for my older kids to do while I work out (basketball, soccer, etc.). My favorite Y! The free weight area has grown on to the sprint track though which is a bummer because I used to enjoy working out in that area where the machines are now located. A designated “spot” out of the way where I can still use weights. The front stretching area works for this, but I’d prefer heavier dumbbells in that area.
I t has the things. that l want to use. Such as the track, the pickleball courts , and the. natillus machines.
My classes have really great instructors.
Pleasant staff, not overly crowded.
