Good equipment, very clean, great staff.
The YMCA on Wetzel Rd, Liverpool is too small. They need turf area for soccer/football & a walk area for people.
Parking is easy. The lounge is comfortable and spacious, which facilitates socialization. The main floor was plenty of cardio machines and has a good combination of weighted machine stations as well as free weights and barbell stations. The new computer controlled weight circuit is popular and provide data on improvement. They have a large cylcing studio and an elevated track for wrm ups and cool downs. Pickleball and basketball courts are often busy. The staff is reponsive when notified of padding breakdown on the machines.
For me, the aquatic center is worth the price of admission. The lap pool usually has 4 lanes open and kept at a good temperature. The large therapy pool is kept around 90F and doubles as a jacuzzi. They also have a dry sauna and steam room. The pool is well run and I witnessed one of the lifegaurds in action when an elderly man loose his balance in the therapy pool and was at risk for falling under the water in his panic.
I was previosuly a member of the Downtown Y, but it's worth the longer dirve for me to utilize this beautiful facility.
Love that I can sign my kids up for activities and participate in activities to improve my health at the same time. The Y is an asset to our community and our family. We love all of our BASCOL staff and are so thankful for their care of our kiddos.

Love the camp, aftercare, and school vacation day programs. Without these programs it would be impossible to keep working full time. We’ve also taken advantage of the date nights. The staff is so friendly!
I love the EGym and am hoping they put another circuit in because it has been very busy. I also love the Espresso bike.
The locker rooms are very clean and modern, the facilities are excellent. The staff are friendly.

I like everything about the Northwest Family YMAC. The employees at the front desk are very polite and a pleasure to talk with. The workout areas are very clean ( the only problem is people don’t know how to pick up after themselves or wipe down equipment) the members are a joy to speak with… The trainers are also very helpful … the only thing I’d love to see offered is a massage parlor for when like myself needs one…other than that everything is great.

Everyone at the front desk is friendly and makes me feel welcome. There are a great selection of classes available for members. I love the walking track and the aquatic center!

Everyone in our family can do something different. I take regular pottery classes, my wife walks the track and our grandchildren love to swim.

Love the pickleball group, the gym , and now the new EGym. Just wish it wasn’t so crowded!

I love the Y, but the area around the basketball and sports courts are very dirty. Lots of dust and lint.

Water aerobics is good for the body. I enjoy the friendships I have made with other Y members. Regular Y participation has become an important routine.
A lot of programs for all age groups!
There is a lot to do there....many activities of all kinds suited for different members needs.
What I don't like.....the place needs to be cleaned!!! As I walk around the track I see 10 years worth of dust that has accumulated on the nets that cover the courts, the piping and other areas that are above floor height. I seriously don't think the nets have ever been cleaned and as the air flows dust could be floating in the air which is not healthy. Maintenance needs to look up...above just vacuuming the floor!
The staff is s always fry. The facility is clean.
the variety of offerings is amazing! Not just a gym, which is great, but add the pools, the gyms, the turf and it's the most complete fitness center around, then add the day care, the pottery room, the general interest group offerings and it is really a community center! Very happy to be members!
All the water pools plus steam room , the life guards are excellent. Gotta try other things out and very busy place . Front desk staff very nice has well . Lobby looks very busy but homey.
