The friendly staff & equipment setup. Especially Pickleball that need new nets.
Very well run facility. Friendly staff. Clean well maintained facilities. The pool is particularly well run. Great lane management in the lap pool. Lots of hours to use the activity pools. Lifeguards are attentive and professional. I live in Manlius and routinely drive across town to swim at the Bville Y because the experience is so much better.
It’s clean! Equipment is always in good working order. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pools and locker room are very clean.

So nice to have the pool and activity area open for families. We travel from Dewitt because our local Y never seems to have those amenities open.

Large exercise spaces, diverse activities and clientele.I mostly take morning exercise classes. I wish there were other art choices but have enjoyed any classes I have taken.

We are very satisfied and pleased with the Northwest Y. The facilities and staff are great. The one issue we have concerns communication. The website is awful to navigate and finding information is terrible. Second, the front end staff often do not have information or are made up to date on programs. Better coordination of program people and the front desk is needed.
So clean and friendly
So much to do, so many opportunities to exercise and improve my overall health and wellbeing. its never overly crowded like some gyms, lots of room, love the indoor walking track during the winter.
I like the classes it offers for seniors.
Location, value, variety of fitness activities and equipment
LOVE the aqua exercises, especially Donna! and the staff at the front are wonderful.
Everything it’s clean plenty of options swim sauna weight room walking track you name it. It’s just that all around wonderful facility.
Easy check in, no loud music blaring and cordial members. I’ve taken advantage of the Silver Sneakers membership while visiting from Colorado.
I’ll definitely continue to use your facility each time I’m in town.
The people are nice. The lounge with coffee and lending library. The pools and pool classes,Yoga and Zumba , and the gym is excellent. The Y is very clean
Classes that it offers
We love the lazy river and pool area. I also just had my first group exercise class and it was great! The instructors were very motivating and the pace and group size was perfect for me.

Love the chance to exercise when I want. The variety that is offered such as the E-Gym and variety of machines in the gym as well as being able to use the pool during open times.
I love the pool and all the personnel. The building is kept clean and in good repair. It s a very welcoming place.
I take water classes Monday through Friday and the instructors and their classes are great! I wish I could say the same about the cleanliness of the locker room. The floor had sort of been swept during shutdown but some of the “markers” we had been watching for weeks were still on the floor. The drains in the shower area were filled with hair and gray blocks from the floor. The building is aging as we all are but it still needs to be kept clean.
It is such a friendly place. I always feel better leaving than I did when I arrived.
