Northwest YMCA has amazing service, great facilities, fun classes and wonderful recreational experiences.
The staff is friendly & helpful. The building is clean and well maintained. For those of us who enjoy lap swimming, there's a wide range of hours of hours available for lap swimming.
The site is really clean and the steam room is the best within all the Y’s in the area

Activities pool is a must with our kids! Ages 3, 7, and 9, everyone finds something to enjoy there. Larger faculty is clean and staff are always helpful.
The instructors, the front desk staff... everyone is friendly & helpful. I take 5 or more classes/week & walk the track almost every day.

The members show respect and concern for each other. If a new member joins one of the classes, the others help out by trying to “show them the ropes.”

Really like the precor bikes and Aquatics area. BTW, its one of the cleanest facilities i've ever had a memberships at. Thats been my experience in the short time at the ymca and i have been to many gyms and health clubs in the last 30 years. I can't comment on anything else like classes and kids programs b/c it doesn't apply to my gym needs. Fantastic facility in bville here!
Wide range of exercise options — good equipment, qualified trainers and class instructor and excellent personal training. The facilities are so well maintained and always clean. Friendly front desk staff. Nice amenities such as filtered water spigot to refill water bottle, nice locker room that includes hairdryers, benches throughout the facility, hooks outside exercise studios and in stairwells. It has everything I’m looking for!

There is something for everyone. I appreciate how centered this YMCA feels around families. The daycare center is a nice addition. There are activity rooms and plenty of classes and events that people of all ages may get involved in.
