Megan and sarah in the kids club are awesome. They genuinely care about me and my girls, and I am so thankful that I can work out in peace knowing my girls are well taken care of.
The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. They’ll hold my baby if they see me struggling with my hands full and they always greet us with a smile.
Also, Rachel is the best group exercise instructor. I love the energy and community she brings to her classes. She remembers everyone’s names and something about each person. She pushes you when she knows you’re not giving your all, but she also knows when you need to scale an exercise.
My only complaint is that it’s a little pricey to be a member, but at this point in my life with 2 young kids, I don’t really have a choice but to pay for it because the kids club is so great.
We love the E-gym, pool treadmills and bikes.
Excellent staff and useful activities
Excellent teachers, friendly staff
I just take John's class for seniors. But it is so helpful.
Swimming and exercise as well.
The Southwest YMCA truly has a community feeling to it. As a regular attendee at this branch, it naturally feels most relaxing especially with its welcoming staff including Yasmin, Tania, Toby and many more team members.
Updated equipment and friendly staff. Lots of classes.
Eddie Y. the tai chi instructor is superb! I wish you had him teach more that twice per week.
All staff members I have met are friendly and the few facilities I have seen/used are clean and well maintained.
Please keep up the good work.

Friendly staff, wide variety of classes.
swimming pool.
I regularly attend early morning classes before work.
I like the group exercise especially the sprint and cycling classes.
I enjoy Cindy P's Gentle Yoga classes, the weight room, the pool, the one-on-one sessions with trainers, Sarah's dance class, Ellen's Yoga With Roller class, Jane's balance class, and the fact that the Y is a nonprofit that offers prorated membership rates based on ability to pay. There are a variety of classes that I want to explore yet.
Glad to see that you have hired very good water aerobics instructors. However, each one should know and announce who is replacing her if she is unable to teach a particiular class. For example, today, Kelly announced she is not teaching on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. However, she didn't know if there will be a substitute for her or not. So, do I attend or not?
Thanks.

Please start La Blast classes there! I have to travel to the Central YMCA to go to their amazing La Blast there
Everything you need in a low key environment. I don't like that stretching was moved out of the weight room, however.
I only go to the gym, had not participated much in programs.
The South West YMCA offers great/excellent classes and the vibe is very positive and motivating! The instructors are very knowledgable and motivating.

The varied activites and your marvelous instructors. Their is so much to choose from and the scheduling usually works for me.
Thank you for doing such a marvelous job.
The Buxbaums
More Laid-back , Better Atmosphere , MORE HOT WATER FOR SHOWERS , THEN '' CENTRAL '' on the Alameda . Only NOT as much Parking as there .
So far I've only done two of the group exercise programs. The Aqua Aerobics is my favorite one thus far. Looking forward to trying a few more classes. Yasmine took me on a tour and she signed me up. She is very friendly and helpful. Thank you.
