Love all the water classes and access to the strength machines. The Y locker room is always clean. The only complaint I have is the thoughtless people who leave their hair in the sink and don’t pick up their towels.

As the official FUN Committee organizer at the Page Mill Y, I value Community and Celebration.
The only YMCA activity I am part of is the pool. I transferred from the Redwood City YMCA to the one in Palo Alto, as I prefer the warm, non-caustic water.
I like the variety of programs. I can take yoga classes, Zumba-type classes, conditioning classes. I can go and work out by myself in the weight room. I can take personal training sessions.

They are well choreographed and catered to suit different ages and abilities.
Most people are very friendly and the instructors are very competent.

The facility is operated in a helpful and welcoming way. I am glad to be there for the yoga classes I attend and the pool, knowing I am in good company. However the Y promotes this atmosphere is working well for me.
