I love the warm pool and come 3-4 times a week. Sorry you can't seem to get enough life guards. My grandson applied but it took him months to get even an interview. He's now working for Stanford as life guard on week-ends as he goes to local JC,
They pay a little more an hour too. Its too bad because he lives with-in walking distance.
I've been coming to the pool since it opened years ago. Everyone is very kind especially Carol.

I love the water aerobics classes and the warm water pool.
I like being able to go to various Y clubs in the area. There are many machines for cardio exercise as well as weight training tools. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended!
Staff is friendly, especially Delayzio who I always enjoy talking to if he is in the lobby. Equipment is well maintained

Have to add, closing the gym at noon on Fridays is a major inconvenience. Please extend
the hours to at least 1:00 on those days.
Varieties and nice staffs
Getting to ecxercise in the pool regularly hads kept me going. At my age ijt jis hard to walk and this gives me that movement that I need.
Super clean space. Variety of exercise options. Very friendly staff. I rave about this particular YMCA.

I like the variety of the classes because I Iike to mix it up: yoga, core, senior fitness, etc.
Pool without intermission. 8:45-9:00am is core time for parents after kids drop off from school. Thank you for hiring more life guard to make it happens!
I use the indoor pool….that’s all. I would take tai chi if you offered it.

I LOVE Marina's aqua fitness class. It is one of the high points of my week. I don't want to be negative about the other aqua fitness teachers I've tried, but I must say that Marina's exercises and teaching methods are far superior to the others. The fact that she instructs using clear signals with her body, and does not need to say a word, makes every step very clear -- far better than trying to hear vague instructions over the music and the splashing, which is very difficult. Marina's exercises are also easily and intuitively adaptable to every level of ability, from beginner to advanced. What a great teacher she is!
I have had a family membership since 1997. I still share a membership with one of my grown daughters. I am so grateful for everything you have done to re-establish your operations at the Ross Road Y. A special shout out to your lifeguards - I have been using the pool - they are very patient. But I love Sue D.'s Body Pump class and I use the Banks Center regularly as well. My daughters and I have participated in Body Pump, Yoga, and Cycling classes. After the pandemic shutdown, I have been using the pool more until I get back into shape. Your staff is terrific. They've been working under changes in mask guidelines, managing through hours and staffing changes. We appreciate their courtesy and patience as well all try to get back to important routines. When my children were younger we were active participants in the children's basketball programs, and enjoyed swimming together. The YMCA has been a mainstay in my well being and in my daughter's well being since 1997. Also I enjoy being able to visit YMCA's in other locations when I travel. Thank you so much! PS Bring back Fran Phillips Pilates class! She taught at Ross Road for years!
I love the workout equipment.
I attend your water aerobics activities. I like the pool, the people in the class and most (2 our of three) teachers. I consider water aerobics to be my "happy place".

The Pool is exquisite--great bang for your buck! Plus fall weather just another blessing for our indoor pool--we can watch the rain and the leaves falling in the wind.
Special shout out to Simon and the guys in the lifeguard squad--thry are gentle and easygoing. Simon is terrific with tunes--I can count on him to keep me clued in.
I like the reasonable effort expended to remain cognizant of covid. Long covid is the great threat--and we have numerous vulnerable members.
We need some Fall Pumkins and decor!
