Fantastic, indoor pools. Classes that keep up with trends and the times. Affordable memberships for family of two. Friendly staff and lifeguards. Cleanliness. Nice showers. An awesome indoor pool for swimming laps!
The elliptical machines, the circuit weight machines, the pool, hot tub, and sauna. I have not taken any classes yet but look forward to it. Staff is nice and always helpful. I also appreciate the lockers you provide, and the bathing suit spinners.
I mostly attend to use the exerbikes and before that, to use the treadmills. Staff are very friendy and I say hi & goodbye to them every day and it makes me feel very warmly towards your organization, thanks. also i always quit right on the dot at 8pm (never 8:01pm) and walk straight out and i think most of the staff who know me know this and don't bother to bug me about closing time.
Looking forward to more offerings as people continue to return.

Low key and accesible classes
Group exercise classes are good I wish there were more as prior to pandemic. Fitness / weight room is over-subscribed and many people using equipment don't follow proper protocol, they sit on equipment between sets tying it up. I like the location, short time from parking lot to workout. The general ethos behind YMCA I also like, eg inclusive and accepting of all.
I like that the Y has continued to offer a sanitizing spray bottle for me to use to clean equipment. I have not been sick since the pandemic began and believe this new habit has contributed to that.

Good variety of classes, at accessible times. Although wished there were some more classes over the weekend. But I suppose attendance is much harder on the weekend.
Also appreciate the convenience of having childcare available.
The instructors are all amazing, very friendly and patient with the class participants.

I love the dance classes such as Zumba and Ujam. Some years ago I also worked with a trainer and I found that very helpful. I like that there’s a lobby with magazines where you can sit and relax after you work out. In the summer I enjoy going to Aqua Zumba classes in the pool at the Y in Mountain View. I like that the Y also employs children who might have learning differences — to fold towels and take care of the facility. I also appreciate that the Y does so much for the community (because I work at a local elementary school and I see that the Y is there often helping in a variety of ways) Finally some years ago I also took a class on managing my weight which I found useful.

you are an affordable gym with generally good equipment. I like the cycle classes and TRX classes you offer, though I wish you had MORE time options, especially on weekends. I'm pleased you are returning to longer hours, though you're not quite back to where you were pre-covid.
and I do appreciate the community vibe, with children, old people and everyone in between and a wide variety of experience levels. It's definitely a place that is welcoming and encouraging.
