Member Testimonials
when i first joined The Y we had instructions from people who were energetic, fun, and motivated to do a class.
I wish that the water instructors.
iI seems like the Y would rather recycle people who are boring.
i do water classes Mon through Thurs and ai end up talking because there really is no real instruction.
i like the staff.
Very helpful and friendly staff.

The best feature of the Y is the multi-generational demographics. Love to see the older folks partake in the classes in the gym and in the pool. would love to see more activities for the younger kids - maybe you have after-school activities that I am not aware of. Staffers in front desk is a mixed bag of personalities; some will greet while others don't even bat an eye. Overall, you all are doing a great job - keep it up! Thank you.
The vast array of shared activities, and the spaces to work out, take a group class, swim, and enjoy one-on-one time with a personal trainer
Quality service for people with Parkinson's disease.
First, let me say that likeilihood of recommendation is not the best measure of enjoyment. I typically put a middling number in answer to that question, because I am simply not much of a recommender. I was horrified to learn that if you answer less than 9 or 10 to an XFinity survey about a service visit, the technician would alllegedly be suspended for a week. Just because I said I was unlikely to recommend, being a low recommender.
That said, I am totally taken by the egym weight machines, which represent an order of magnitude improvement over the older ones. I do wish the NFC chips would work from a larger distance, but that's a pretty minor complaint.
I have also been attending Larry's Parkinson's Class, which is enjoyable even if I don't fully understand the purpose of some of the less taxing maneuvers. Great people, and Larry is a phenomenon of nature.
I am looking forward to getting certified on more of the machines in the weight/treadmill room, since I understand the egym membership covers all. That's the next step. It's great to have returned to the Y after the Covid absense.
