Outdoor pool is nice
I like that's it affordable for the whole family and have a variety of workout options and convenient hours.
Wish we had FITLINX back, otherwise still like the Y.
Pilates program and especially Celine! She is patient, thoughtful and very skilled. I also appreciate the clean locker room and weight room and all of the classes that the Y offers. I love the fact that the Y is a comfortable place for people of all ages, races and socio-economic status
They wide span of ages and buiding coummuity
All inclusiveness--all ages, fit and unfit, physically healthy and not, etc., etc., etc.
A community meeting place where everyone is welcome.
Diversity, socializing, feeling part of a community, some great teachers that are really inspiring
Lots of classes
large amount of equipment, program options, staff support
Such a nice place with good facilities and clean. Staffs are really nice and helpful
I love Pilates and other similar classes--no Les Mills classes.
Don't use the programs much. My wife does and enjoys them. In general, the Y caters to its very picky clientele.
Great staff. Good variety of programs. Diverse membership.
Good classes. Clean and cheerful surroundings. Friendly staff. Family friendly atmosphere.
(More of my friends would join if you accepted Silver Sneakers. They say they can’t afford to join the Y even though it’s better than gym’s with Silver Sneakers.)
Child care that my child loves!
Vinyasa yoga - early morning
I like how upbeat and positive the staff are. It’s contagious!
So far I have really liked the variety of programs offered. I do wish there were more options for younger kids, ages 1-4 but I appreciate the kids club.
Ive only used the pool so far. Facilities look clean. Staff friendly
They are fun! My boyfriend, son and I enjoy going to the gym and also joining classes.
It gave me back my confidence to be more active after a heart attack.
The employees were extremely friendly and helpful.
The exercise machines were all in good shape.
Very clean environment.
I really enjoy the Les Mills classes of CX Works & body Combat--especially when taught by Anita and Delcy. I also enjoy Anita's Barre class.
I like group exercise classes, especially zumba/dance aerobics/bollywood classes.
The variety and number of programs and activities. I appreciate that activities are geared to many age groups, abilities and interests.
Friends and feeling welcome
I like the activities that I can do with my 8 year old.
I like a lot, but am only able to participate in some activities. I currently lift weights (machines, NOT e-gym) 3 days per week and run 3 other days per week, usually outside. Day 7 I usually rest or walk. I joined the Thursday morning run group and really enjoy the other runners and the regular run. I am hoping to do the world's shortest triathlon on January 5th. The employees are pleasant and friendly and the facility is light and airy. I like the "courses" on the treadmills, though even with this wonderful feature, treadmill running is so much less fun than outdoor running. I loved Don Schleimann and really enjoy Margot Gordon as trainers in the weight room. I feel their coaching helps me stay safe and healthy. I like the wide variety of aerobic and stretching classes like pilates, yoga, and zumba, but I can't usually fit them in to my schedule. For me, the strength training on weight machines is the most invaluable aspect of the YMCA.
I like the early morning yoga, Pilates and core classes. Works well with my schedule. I can work out for an hour before class if I arrive at 4:30 AM.
All

I love the step classes and adult ballet classes!
