The 1 good eliptical.
Great childwatch options (although many do wish that the childwatch was open 2pm-on vs 4pm-on. Many schools are out earlier each day.
Love the yoga classes and exercise machines. Lots of choices for any age and ablility.

I like the outdoor swimming pool. Very clean and not too crowded even on a nice Saturday afternoon.
I go for the ping pong the fact that is open late on Friday nights.

The two card readers at the front desk will not read my card until the desk person manipulates the reader over my card. Why not either get new readers or replace the bad cards?

I like the programs and the fact that the facility is clean (could be better)! I would like to see the hours extend to 11:00 pm. I know you tried before but I don't believe you marketed it well. Or at least to 10:30 pm.
We love YMCA the whole family!! We have one wish though, that you could have a dance lesson for teenagers (like 12-17) once a week. Our daughter would like to join a dance group with some kind of modern dance for her age and she has friends who would like to join a group like this as well.

There's a program for every interest and need. And you make friends with the people in your activities. Plus the coaches are all pros.

I enjoy some of the group (dance) classes, and I am also pleased with the eGym weight lifting system (especially since I understand that the El Camino YMCA is one of only two YMCAs in the whole country who offer eGym).
There are many options and times for classes that gives members many options
Install TV displays in Zumba and BollyX activity rooms.
I especially like the coffee in the morning and T and the staff is very helpful. It is just too expensive for the average senior citizen $79 a month is way more then 24 hour fitness. It would be nice if they adjusted the price and made their hours longer. Something like till midnight open would be better.
Very welcoming! Everyone is super nice, both employees and work out peers!
The gym could benefit from having more free weights and fresher air i.e. some new clever ventilation system :-)

The simple answer is that I like the abilities, professionalism and commitment of your instructors. They are the main reason I attend the Y and why I would recommend others to join.
I attend Two weekly Pilates classes with Celine, three Aerobics with Jackie and Jennifer
And recently started to attend the Friday 12:30 aerobics class with two instructors.
Celine is a solid professional who has the skill to diagnose specific issues and provide the right pilates moves to overcome the challenges we bring to class. She is amazing and my favorite instructor at the Y.
Jackie and Jennifer are excellent. They consistently deliver excellent classes and ensure we that we get a quality workout.
The Friday 12:30 aerobics class is the toughest class I take and really challenges me. Both instructors are excellent and provide an intense workout.
