Variety of spaces and programs
Pool is good
Need more 5:30 and 6:00 AM classes like before covid era
Functional Fitness class was fun and age appropriate.
I like that there are activities for all ages and fitness levels.
I have the VERY BEST physical therapist who know how to target the issue with my knee pain
I am a big fan of the Les Mills Bodypump classes, especially those taught by Eyal. Is there any chance the Y could add Bodypump Heavy to our list of classes? I've only taken a sample class, but loved it.
I like the inclusiveness of either the whole family or the whole diverse community.
Variety of activities
Lisa S. is a great instructor in the Functional Fitness and Balance Class. Having had both
a partial hip replacement, and total knee replacement, my Physical Therapist recommended
this class whic has helped me to become more mobile.
love the pool, basketball courts, and the weight rooms.
I plan on attending a class or two soon.
Great instructors. Caring staff
Nice pool with decent lap swimming hours and nice facilities
Weight e-circuit and fitness room option
Love that you offer so many classes
Wide range of schedule options. I see many community members I know at the Y.
The group exercise at the MV YMCA is some of the best, if not the best, in the nation. I've been to *many* Ys across the US and across the world. The number of classes, variety, and quality of the instruction is 2nd to none. This is so important! Keep it rolling please!
Also, the facility is great. All the natural light, the wellness and studio areas, huge gym, pickleball away from the sun, outside workout groupex area with shade if you want it, towel service, showers, sauna, lockers that work(!), equipment that is never broken or dirty(!). Fantastic.
Thank you!
The El Camino Y has a lot of class offerings but most importantly the instructors are great.
One thing that I think that could be improved is to train the people at the sign in to call peole by name. Since when we check in they see our name it would not take much to then welcome people by name.
When there is a new ED I would highly encourage that person to be visible and make a point of coming out into the lobby to get to know members and know them by name.
I did not join programs or activities. I just work out in your facility. But, I love there.
The variety of classes offered at times throughout the day.
Low key comfortable atmosphere.
like the kindness and the experience.
Variety of classes for all ages. Great instructors.
I joined only a month back. From entering YMCA, you feel so welcome by the young kids and Ms.Alice in the front desk.
The group pool exercises by both leaders are great!!! The yoga classes and Tai chi is great!! I know that every dollar is worth it!
As a member of the gym, I’ve had a very positive experience overall. Most of the staff and instructors are excellent, professional, supportive, and engaging. I especially enjoy the new BollyX class offered on Thursday evenings; the instructor is outstanding and among the best I’ve encountered.
Parking can be a bit challenging at times. However, I understand that this is a shared space and improvements may be limited. Overall, I would still highly recommend El Camino Y.
Great instructors for the group classes!
Like Nustep equipment
My son and I normally go to Southwest YMCA. We've been going to El Camino YMCA recently and love the beautiful and spacious facilities and the view from the treadmills.
I like the friendly members instructors and the members. I like the community feel.
Good mix of classes and good instructors.

Huge variety of choices and times at which these wonderful workouts are being offered!
