The Horizon Program has been a blessing for our family. Initially, I was searching for programs that could assist with homework and others that would encourage social engagement. I discovered this program on the school’s website and was impressed by the inclusion of a one-hour study hall followed by engaging activities. Since enrolling, I’ve been very pleased with the diverse and creative activities offered. The staff have been wonderful to work with, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the children. I am truly grateful for the positive impact this program has had on my son.

I love that my son gets to connect with other kids and friends for outside play time. He is in his last year of the Y and talks about how much he will miss it when he gets to middle school.
My daughter loves afterschool. She actually gets mad if I pick her up early because she wants to play with all of her friends there.

Aftercare program has been a wonderful program for our son throughout his school years.
He gets to enjoy the time with kids he goes to school with. I am glad that YMCA has offered this at his school along with being available during school closers.
My child loves afterschool… we love that there are options when school is out, all the teachers are nice and reach out to me when needed, love that we can communicate by phone/text, activities are fun and engaging

Study Hall - The dedicated time for this, right after school while the child is still engaged and has support staff to help and guid if there are any questions.
Group Activities - to encourage interaction and social skills to help be more involved with shcool and friends.
The staff at the Hominy Valley Elementary site are AMAZING!!!! Abby loves them all, and they are so wonderful with the kids. I couldn't ask for a better experience than we have had with the YMCA.

As a parent I really like everything about the after school program, when I go pick my son up he's always out in the field playing with the other kid's he enjoy the art activities&any activities they do at after school & the Teacher are really Great with the Kids & making sure they are safe at all time's..
