Ellen of Care Patrol reached out to me to get the process of finding an assisted living home for my sister started. She was very knowledgeable about places in Anne Arundel County, and took into account my sister's needs, interests, & finances to try to match her with an appropriate facility. I felt that she had my sister's best interests at heart. She looked at availability, made contacts, & accompanied me on 3 tours of possible places. She even tried to negotiate prices. She was a great help, as all this was accomplished in a little over a week. I could not have begun to do all this without her, for I was feeling overwhelmed & didn't know where to start.

We reached out to CarePatrol regarding assistance for finding a place for my Mom. They came highly recommended from a Pastor at my church, and after working with them, I can see why. They were very helpful and understanding. Amy worked closely with us and listened to what we wanted and needed for my Mom. She explained the process and helped us understand how it all worked. Amy was a huge asset as we navigated the entire process, including getting my Mom put on a waiting list. I'm happy to say my Mom is now settled in an assisted living home where she's doing well, and that's thanks to Amy and CarePatrol. I had a great experience with care patrol, and Steve Key. He helped me more than anyone else has helped me in my search for an assisted living place for my cousin. He could answer every question I asked him and he has continually told me to feel free to call him 2 4 seven 365. CarePatrol is an amazing organization. When I initially contacted CarePatrol to assist me in my search for a possible retirement step care community for my Uncle I didn’t know what to expect. We spoke on several occasions with their goal to customize the care according to my Uncle’s current as well as possible future needs. My Uncle’s only real request was to be able to take his dog. Unfortunately, I recently had to move my Uncle into a retirement community due to his dementia. It is not something anyone wants to do but because of CarePatrol, my Uncle was able to move into the retirement community he chose as a result of CarePatrols amazing work when we finally toured all of the communities prior to his decline. It was heartbreaking when my aunt was discharged from the hospital and told she could no longer live independently. I live 2,500 miles away, and she has no local family. I had just one week in Cincinnati to make all the necessary arrangements.
Thankfully, I was introduced to Aletha at CarePatrol. Even before I arrived, she spent considerable time on the phone with me — listening with care, answering questions, and helping me understand our options. She even met with my aunt in person before making any recommendations and anticipated things we hadn’t thought to consider.
During my visit, I only had time to tour two facilities. Since Aletha was on a well-earned mini-vacation, Ron stepped in to accompany us. He was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. When I unexpectedly needed a notary, Ron contacted Deana, who happened to be nearby. She met us in a parking lot to notarize my signature - a small gesture on the surface, but one that meant the world to me in the middle of a hectic, emotional week filled with healthcare decisions, legal documents, banking, and assisted living arrangements.

Adam worked round the clock to help us find a suitable facility to transfer my parent when we were facing a deadline. He worked with us Friday evening and Saturday as well to ensure we had all we needed. Very grateful!

CP was there for me on the worst days of my life. Several times, I almost broke under the weight of providing care for my mother. I was just trying to survive and do right by my mother. CP's sincerity, creativity, resourcefulness, and knowledge of health care processes took me from surviving to thriving. When CP taught me that I was not alone, the weight became easier to carry. I don't know what my mother and I would have done without CP. Now, my mom is getting the care she needs. And, I'm OK.

Thersea and Victoria were extremely helpful. They referred me to great personal care homes. They came out on the tours with me and asked questions that I didn't know to ask. The followed up with me along the way. The gave me other referrals to help me with the process.
