First and most important, a fair and competitive price, especially for small orders. I do a substantial amount of one-offs on a manual lathe and custom home-improvement projects and being able to go get a few feet of round bar or other stock without paying for an entire mill length is hugely enabling. I also appreciate your stock of both stainless and red metals, which are especially hard to find in my area in small amounts. Second, your staff are consistently thoughtful, knowledgeable, and helpful. I only wish you also carried Acetal, (UHMW)PE, or another engineering plastic, even if it was just a few diameters of round bar.

You can walk around the shop
Made a small purchase online. When I called to check on it I was told it was ready for pick up. I arrived and they could not find it but they said they would check on it Monday and get back to me. They did just that and told me it was not in fact ready but was in process. They were kind enough to ship it to me for free since I live 2 hours from the store. Great communication and customer service especially in today's day and age of poor customer care.
I would not hesitate to purchase again from them.
