Variety of programs for everyone
The activities are well planned.
Something for everybody from individual to group work outs. Community activities for children and adults. A place to go to be with people that value good health.
The instructors are passionate about what they are teaching and make it fun. Plus the variety of classes is great.
The track and children programs
Everyone is friendly and it is a nice facility.
I enjoyed the inside walking trail especially when I am not capable to walk outside due to the weather. It is a good switch from always walking on a treadmill. I am also going to enjoy the workout classes because I did not get this with the other gym membership that i had before the pandemic. I miss the social aspect of the classes and the ability to get to meet new people since I'm retired.
There are many opportunities to exercise in different ways. There are also many different machines that can help make the exercise enjoyable .
My wife and I enjoyed our first visit the other day. All of the staff were friendly and other members were nice as well. We look forward to our next visit in the coming days. We hope to become regulars.
There is a lot to choose from
Pool
There are programs and activities for all ages. The instructors are great.
I love it here everyone is so friendly and helpful.
I like the dedicated lap pool, the water is a perfect temperature. The upstairs workout area and track are arranged well.
Everything.
OrthoIndy Y is the BEST! I get double benefits because I've met so many new friends & I get the greatest workouts ever! My Thursday Active Older Adults classes with Darien are excellent! He is motivating, caring and knows his stuff. But mostly because He has fun with us seniors, which we love! All this while keeping us healthy & enabling us to building our strength and teaching us how important it is to maintain muscle as we age.
My AOA workouts with Pam & Barbara are also Great!! They are all The BEST instructors because they can relate to seniors and they CARE! When appointments occur and I miss my classes, I am bummed because I'd rather be at the Y. I've had opportunities to attend other places, but overall the OrthoINdy YMCA is my center of Choice. And by the way, me and OrthoIndy make 67 years old look GOOD!
Coach Amber was very pleasant, and accommodating to my 3 yr old. She did her best to engage and my daughter complied sometimes but more often preferred to do her own thing. I like that it was teaching but not too stringent.
Water aerobics & clean areas
Multiple opportunities to do aquatics and pickleball.
I like the fact that everyone is so inviting it's a place to meet people
and feel good about your self as you get healthy & keep moving
I participate in Water aerobics, chair yoga ,stretch classes and other &Senior activities . My instructors are.just wonderful they want to C you succeed
I recently participated in a special fundraiser called Zumba thon! 2.5 hours of ENERGY, FUN AND EXERCISE!!!! I left feeling so pumped up! I can’t wait for it to come next year!!!!
everything is age related-something for everyone.
The Y is full of activity all the time. Even if I am not in a program, I like to view all that is going on. My favorite is the Aqua Fit classes. So much fun and Donna is a great instructor and class act person.
And I have never witnessed any conflict from the members. With all the testosterone flowing, everybody is cool and collected.
That it’s offered
Everything
I love that my youngest can have fun at play and learn while my teen child and I work out. Staff are always friendly and it’s great atmosphere for beginners and long time gym goers.
You offer a wide variety of classes and equipment
I love the variety of sports available for children. There are classes for both my 10 year old and my 1 year old. I can enroll them both into programs at the same center and not have to run all over the city.
All of its great don’t change

I love the classes and the programs.
